I can't find an option to set a default (silk went through a major re-design a few weeks ago) but on individual pages I can request another view.
This seems to work with SFF sometimes and not others which is why I rather gave up on it
I really appreciate the post.0 -

That was posted in 2012.
Does this help?

Failing that search the Google search to see if something more helpful/recent comes up.

There are two screenings of the same film that night. I would advise you keep trying the code for the earlier show in case there are returns.0 -
Hi Guys
I think that the subject of SFF is getting a little personal now and going off topic.
Please remember that we are all here to have a good time and help each other if possible.
Any more posts that are personally insulting will be removed.

Weasel_Watcher is correct about the jquery problem on the sff mobile site, and I consider that this is a deliberate act by sff to prevent anyone accessing the full list anymore. They probably figured out that this was the simplest way of achieving that end.
The only way around this is to avoid mobile sites entirely and only download desktop sites. If your browser doesn't have a setting like that then you need a different browser that does. Google is very helpful in finding out what you need to do and where this kind of setting is hiding in your browser.0 -

We've already told Weasel_Watcher this information and you've seen their reaction. Nobody here is responsible for this problem yet this person is taking it out on us. Time and time again, we've advised how to get round the problem but we are constantly told we don't understand.
SFF should be contacted and complained at not us on here.0 -

Will you drop it? When have I taken anything out on you? I have been courteous at all times. Look, if you don't know how to help, and don't understand the issue, don't post a "solution", or if you do, explain your particular circumstances fully, browser, platform, etc. rather than assume this sort of thing is the same for everyone. We are supposed to trying to help each other!
In any case, I have since found out that some versions of Chrome browser will offer a desktop version (nothing to do with phone settings Quoia! It's all browser related). Now, I'm assuming this the experience of the the two residential group main protagonists.
So, best advice for people experiencing this issue is, if you are capable of installing Google Chrome browser on your device, do so. Then when the page fails to load, select the menu button (three vertical dots) top right, then if you are one of the lucky ones, you'll see "Request Dekstop Site" at the bottom. Click this, and you're laughing.
If you have a windows phone, there are reports that you can use Microsoft explorer and start to scroll down before the page has finished loading, which allows you to see the rest of the page.
Some versions of Opera permit you to configure aspects of the device metadata. Go into Opera settings, scroll down to "User agent" and select "Desktop". By all accounts, I doubt this will help (I've tested it on an iPhone and it doesn't), because the JQuery is sniffing out the screen size to serve the limited version). But there may be devices that get served up something different, or the site makes a decision to serve up a page based on another factor, so if it works for you good luck.
These are the sort of discussions I wanted to open up from my original post. You know? People helping each other and giving details of solutions, browsers and tweaks that could get us round it. The sort of thing a community should be exercising. What on earth happened?
Please everyone, continue to post any further help on the issue, and remember to give full details, and to be nice.0 -

The post you are referencing has now been deleted. In fact there are two posts that have been deleted. One was a response to quoia.0 -
Well that's an interesting post. It completely ignores that fact that we were all several steps ahead of you and provided the solution to your problem. You said repeatedly that "You don't understand" the problem. Trouble is we already knew that what you were doing, namely trying to get the mobile site working, was a total waste of time. We skipped ahead to the solution and your reply was always "You don't understand".
You appear to have finally taken some of our suggestions and passed them off as your own. Trouble is you are very very late to the party and are fooling no-one.
