Thanks for that! As for practice - well my instructor hasn't returned my call yet! So no practice so far. Must give him a ring. Will check out for cancellations!

Oh Pooh! DS2 didn't pass second time either (don' like to say FAILED, lol!) today - 4 minors and 1 major (a different one:rolleyes: ) this time. Just re-booked for October, but will try for another earlier one - was lucky enough to get one two weeks later last time, so hopefully will again. He's definitely ready, just needs to get the bloomin' thing passed! Turning into a dear do, this....

Awwww poor lad - what a shame! You know what they say ... 3rd time lucky ;)

My instructor finally called me back and we had a lesson last night. he took me out to 'that' corner and I did it fine. It was just nerves that got me I think. He thinks that I probably spent too much time concentrating on lining myself up properly and doing my observations and therefore wasn't quick enough with my steering. It's a tight little road and a funny angled corner.

Anyway, we have another lesson tonight so going to practice it again.

Probably why they 'chose' it for the test, Mrs S.
You'll do okay next time - just don't let the 'nerves' win. :T :T

Good luck for nxt time, took me 5 attempts to get through mine cos of nerves but it can be done, a dear friend of mine passed on her 3rd attempt and she is an absolute basket case when it comes to the test.

Thanks, mrsspendalot - I hope it's 2nd time lucky for you! Have you managed to get an earlier date, or are you sticking with October?

I think I am going to wait until October. My instructor goes on holiday in 2 weeks for 3 weeks, so that doesn't leave much option for cancellations!
