I had my first driving lesson aged 17, I passed my test aged 38. Was with my last instructor for 2.5 years. He still sends me a Christmas card after 12 years!

If at first you dont succeed......................Yeh, but think of the money I spent on lessons.

I was so nervous the instructor made me stop at a shop and he went in to buy me a can of coke, I wasnt sure it was a test, I shouldnt be drinking it while driving, but he passed me despite me being a bag of nerves. It was my 3rd test, remember the nerves very well, even thought it was 6 years ago now.
    Good luck

    Good luck mrs s! :)

I was so nervous that I went to my doctor the week before my test, and he prescribed ONE pill for me to take. I bet it was a placebo and he just did it to placate me! :D

Anyway I passed first time, and I was so nervous I could see the pulse going in my neck! Just remember, there are some really stupid people who can drive, and if they can pass their test, there's nothing stopping you.

That makes it sound like you're stupid. :o I didn't mean it that way. I just meant that if stupid people can pass, then you, who isn't stupid (unlike me lol) will manage it no problem.

    Phew! :p

    Good luck!!

On my first test, I was on a narrow side road and someone stopped me and asked for some directions!!!!!!!

I failed, but not for that and passed the second time.
