Oh carp, missy hope it's not as bad as you fear xx

Welcome back and happy birthday, FBO xx

Welcome to newbies too, lovely to have you!

I've not stopped today but sadly it's not been flying. We left at 7.40am and other than a quick dash in for a change of clothes we didn't get home till 6pm. Then I went back out to SW (lost another 1.5lb:T) and home for 9.

Had a quick chat with my mum (who had done my ironing whilst babysitting :D) then made pack up, had a shower and here I am. Phew.

Actually, I did set the DW going, wash up what was left and put a wash on.

Kiddies are in breakfast club and after school club tomorrow <insert guilty mum smiley> so with any luck I will get out of work in time to pick up some groceries on the way to collect them. Otherwise it's cereal for dinner! <insert guilty mum smiley>

It's a good job they love me, I'm a bit crap lately...

Well I crashed on today. The kitchen wasn't too bad so didn't take long so I cleaned the bathroom and then did both the floors.

I swept the balcony down, boxes, chairs, table etc and then wiped them all over and tidied it all away ready to get some plants at the weekend fingers xd.

Emptied out the porch and banged the mats, swept it all down ceiling, walls and floors and then washed door, window, sills and floors. Washed the bin and cleaned all the recycling boxes. When it was dry put it all back and put recycling stuff in boxes.

If it's gone I've done it or I don't have one

    Morning everyone

Need to get in the shower and get ready for paid stuff. Achy legs from my gym class last night but it was fun.

Might take DS to the garden centre this afternoon and get some bedding plants to do my tubs for the patio. Normally they are done by now, dont know why I havent got around to it. Living room needs a dust and hoover but not too bad.

One load of washing out, dishwasher emptied. Forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer that we were going to have for tea so might call at L*dl.

    Have a good Tuesday.

Morning all. Sorry to hear that so many of you are having a rough time of it at the moment.

Yesterday I cleaned the LR but not entirely so may do some more on that. So far today I've cleaned the downstairs loo.

    Have a great day everyone.

Missy hope your Dh job is safe hugs to you all, not knowing causes worry where there may be no need
Hugs to everyone who needs them
Sticks spoons and posi vibes by the bucketful for all to take as needed.

Mil was told it is arthritis in her ankle she was a bit upset and said the Dr didn't seem to care or want to listen, she then when through a whole list of things shed told him were bothering her then she said he then reeled off the whole list of her ailments and the treatments and medication she's receiving and she's claiming he said he doesn't see what else they can do for her. I wasn't there so don't know if to take some of it with a pinch of salt. I know it was an emergency appt so she was only supposed to go with just the pain in her leg so he may have been rushed or she felt she was.
got extra hours at work again today, want to finish the edging on the blanket, yesterday's list and do as much off today's as I can.
Went cinema last night to see entourage the movie, wasn't brill quite crude for a 15 and didn't really go anywhere (never seen the series so can't compare) the friends we went with walked out half way through. I honestly didn't think the word starting with C should be used in a 15 especially not by a young child! But maybe that's just me being a bit prudish.

    Morning all

YL glad you enjoyed your class, it has been a funny spring, I'm way behind with the garden too.

CY hope your recovery is continuing

Bossy you are not a 'bit !!!!' you are very busy

DS3 shattered after 2 cricket games back to back, off to snooze on the bus to school.

Paid stuff for me then need to go to Mr As on a hunt for disposable table wear for the street party this Sunday.

Just going to finish the ironing whilst waiting for the mechanic to collect the little car.

Pot of spoons by the door, help yourselves.

Thanks YorkshireLass - that was indeed the problem!

Had a productive morning so far.

[STRIKE]Beds stripped, bedding washed and on the line[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]DW emptied[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]S and S'd downstairs loo[/STRIKE]

    On to the main list.

Cheerful Tuesday (d'ya see what I did there?): Dining Room, Hall, Stairs, Landing
    Level 1
    Dust from top to bottom
Sweep or vacuum / mop -including stairs if you can, safety first please
    Level 2
Scrub the table top and replace tablecloth if needed.
    Wipe a window or two
    Level 3
Wipe the front door, inside and out
Tidy or declutter a hotspot (rehome shoe rack and hallway rubbish)
    Extras:
10 mins decluttering on kitchen shelves

Hallway clearing couldn't have come at a better time. Everything from our hallway needs to be rehomed so that we can squeeze a pram down the narrow space!
  • Hi all, yesterday i managed to do the following

    Happy Monday: Kitchen
    Level 1
[STRIKE]Remove floor gubbins. Yes, you, that pile over by the door. Does it live there? I think not!
Now do the same with the unnecessary worktop clutter! There you go! Well done![/STRIKE]
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Give the work tops and cupboard fronts your attention (with a cloth, don't flutter your eyelashes at them )
    Shine your sink, flylady basics
Splash backs and greasy tiles? Yep, swishy there too![/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Pop the bin and doormat outside, then sweep and mop your floor
Wipe over the small appliances [/STRIKE]
    Extras:
Do you need to test your smoke alarms?
    Wipe over your big appliances
run the WM and/or DW on a hot wash to keep its insides happy
Count your baking tins and sheets. How many??? Do you really need all of them?

I've cleaned the oven and given cuboard doors and tiles and worktop a good wipe. Steam mopped downstairs floors. Got hall stairs and landing being decorated this week so I wiped all wood work down yesterday.
