    Morning all

Bossy thank you for the thread and Pigpen for last weeks.

Working to my own schedule but like Valli house is not too bad at all. Old habits die hard and I do do a bit of something most days.

CY still thinking of you and hoping you are resting.

FBO welcome back and very well done. Hope today is another good one for you.

YL biggest hugs sweetie, you have been down for a while which is not you, is there anyway you can take some me time. If you need to unload please do, I will always listen x

Paid stuff for me today and then straight to collect DS3 from school cricket to take him to a club match.

Just going to load the WM (DS2 can put it out) and S&S toilets and sinks.

Probably won't be back today so be kind to yourselves and those in your life today.

  • Morning all,

I'm in, thanks for the list bossy. Hi to anyone new/coming back. FBO hi, and that is brilliant, well done. Also YL, circumstances change us and our lives, but it is because we do our best to help our children and loved ones, even if it is to our own detriment. You need me time!

I have an enforced day off the paid stuff today due to a spewing DD2. On the plus side I have already cleaned the kitchen floor (well part of it) twice :)

Morning folks! Waving from the sidelines here. I am more comfortable than I was yesterday and am hoping to get away with fewer painkillers. DD1 has made me breakfast in bed. Everyone else is away to work. The sun is shining and I am hoping that there will be some tennis on the telly this week.

Morning everybody, can I join in please? I used to follow this thread a few years back but let things slide. At the time I was living in a very overfilled tiny house and it helped enormously. Now I'm in a house that is the correct size for us and our junk so in theory it is much easier to keep clean but I lack motivation and I'm struggling to catch up with the backlog from 4 months of morning sickness. I'm expecting baby no. 2 (have a 5 yo DD) in September and really need to get organised. I am planning on cheating a little and getting a one off cleaner in towards the end of the school summer holidays, although will need to declutter before I can bear to let somebody else in to sort out the grime!

Going to aim for all 3 levels in the kitchen today except for maybe the mopping. Shouldn't be too bad as DH did a preliminary clean in there yesterday. Need to add on wiping out the grotty fridge and trying to sort out the irrelevant clutter on my cookbook shelves!

Remove floor gubbins. Yes, you, that pile over by the door. Does it live there? I think not!
Now do the same with the unnecessary worktop clutter! There you go! Well done!
    Level 2
Give the work tops and cupboard fronts your attention (with a cloth, don't flutter your eyelashes at them )

5 minutes of decluttering cookbook shelves

Morning, welcome to the newones and returners. Thank you to Bossy for the new thread and to Natty and Pigpen too. x

Weekend washing is out on the whirley. Lashings of rain here over the last few days so nothing is dry. Wm is on.
Ground floor henried. 1 bin if shreading completed.

Kitchen next, then have to drop off some games to a buyer and pop in to dancegrandma & pop's.

Have a meeting at home at 1.30pm so I'm hoping DS1 doesn't make a mess whilst I'm out.

Going to try joining you this week. I'm on top of housework to a point but it gets to Monday morning and I try to refresh everything in one day. Hoping to spread it all out through the week and give myself a bit of a break.

Pleased it's kitchen to start me off as it's the easy one for me. :)
