Don't think I'm going to count myself in for this one because I didn't do very well on the last one haha!
I will be watching intently though, can't help but look for those good moneymaking tips!

Now if there was a challenge for saving I would be in there!.....

Have you ever heard that old saying "A Penny saved, is a Penny Earned.." ???

It would be nice to make any extra cash on the side so dont feel bad if you didnt do well last time. any extra you make that can be thrown at the debt has to be good. No excuses.. get invovled!! ;)

Hahaha don't worry, I will definitely be getting involved but I don't want to set myself a target this time around. I won't be missing out on any good ideas because I will be checking up on all your progress every couple of days, but right now my focus is saving to get my own place again - living at home is driving me mad!!!!

The only thing I wont be able to do in the challenge is the Matched Betting as im a recovering compulsive gambler and will not put temptation in my way. Apart from that im up for anything. ;)

I'll start making a Ebay pile tomorrow as im actually meant to be doing some work tonight but have ended up surfing the DFW as normal ;)

I'll have to take a look at the last thread to see tips on the the cashback/survey sites but im actually looking forward to this.

    Hi,
I'd like to join the challenge if thats O.K. Managed to scrape through last Christmas without using a CC (first time ever  ) Hopefully this challenge will help me do that again. Plan so far is Pigsback, Ebay and might attempt a car boot sale. Would love to get into Match betting, but find it soooo confusing.
    Good luck everyone.

You took the words right out of my mouth Jo! :rotfl:

Count me in again please Dezzi!
I fell short of the £1k in 2 months challenge by £150 in the end, but I had a consolation prize of £850 made so I'm not too disheartened ;)

If I can do £850 in 2 months, £1k in 4 should definitely be achievable so I'll be going for gold - bring on the 20th!!!

Ok, I have been on Quidco. Signed up for free subscription of 'The week' magazine £4.00 tracked, also signed up for free trial with 'Lovefilm' - not tracked yet. Still have a query with Quidco for A+L account from last Sept (£50) but I have given up all hope of getting that. I am tempted to sign up for some of their gambling offers, but find it all a bit scary (don't want to loose money) Has anyone tried these? Are there any you would reccomend?

  • Hiya everyone!!!

Glad to see everyone, cant wait to start of again!! Hiya DR Hook!! :D Hiya dee!! :D yeh defo put that in the pot u might as well cause u prob wont get the cash for that for a while anyway! and if u save any money from ur shoppingbudget etc put it in jar or the bank and then its money saved, thats what I did with my jar in the last challenge! ive started putting my tips in there again had a fiver yesterday and should get some today plus my wages but im going to V festival this weekend and yes i hear u all say 'sell that ticket' its worth about £180 on ebay but ive promised my friend and I got my ticket for around £80 on an interest free credit card. I made a bit of money by buying 10 tickets and then re selling the other on ebay for slightly more!! (there was supposed to be ten of going but five dropped out). But after this weekend I really am going to go on a mission to clear clear clear!!

Im going to try and use topcashback this time for a few things see if I can make some money on there. freefivers still owe me £43. im also using my boyfriend and his mothers quidco accounts to do some of the things again like the magazine subs, dvd things and maybe even bank accounts if she will let me!!:o

I really need to think of some fresh things I can do to make money this time.... here is my action list so far....

 sell more carp on ebay (inc those sim cards arrr theres millions!!)
    quidco quidco quidco
 topcash back and free fivers
    part time job
 save alllllllll spare change and tips in the JAR!!!
 Not overspending when shopping just getting what i need (maybe do it via internet so I wont get tempted
 make a start on matched betting (no really I am this time)
 letting ppl use my catalgue so I can use the cashback
 enter plenty of comps << ask emily about this one shes a pro!

its not much at the moment but when I get rolling it will be cool. If anyone else has any good money making ideas to add to the list please let me know!!

    hope ur ok!!:j
