I'm going to join in this and it will be my first challenge. I think I'll go for the £1000.
I'll be ebaying, putting stuff on Amazon, doing quidco, mutual points, pigsback and overtime. No time for a second job as for 6 weeks I'll be doing a full-time uni placement and working at the weekends and after that I will sleep and try to remeber who my family and friends are!
I'm only going to count the money when it hits my account so i'm sure some weeks will be much slower than others especially as I'm paid monthly.
The money will go towards Xmas, 5 family birthdays and a new winter coat for me and some boots if it stretches that far!
Good luck everyone.

Well I made £265 from a car boot and selling items last week and today I have raised another £175 making my current total =
£440
I have a pram for sale in the paper and it's in for £80 so fingers crossed that sells as it will add nicely to my total.
At the car boot sale today I ran out of items to sell and ended up with an empty table but will be decluttering again this week and hoping to do another car boot next weekend.
in the meantime, I will be clicking, entering competitions and doing surveys as well as mystery shopping.
Last week I won £100 worth of Amazon vouchers so this will be a great start towards my Christmas fund

ok well I started the challange today and so far I have gathered a pile of stuff to list on Ebay and Amazon. I will try and list a few things a day and see how it goes.
I reclaimed my mortgage exit fees by just telephoning the old lender and they said they would send me cheque for £98.51 ( I think!) last week although it hasnt arrived as yet I will list it as pending as I expect it this week.
So for my opening amount I have
Change Pot: £10.55
Rpoints: £16.29
Mortgage Exit Fee Refund: £98.51
Total: £125.35Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0 -

Hi all,
Just updating my signiture. Most of the increase in total is through Quidco. The CC I applied for with £40 cashback has not tracked and I have heard nothing from American Express (not even a refusal:rolleyes: ). Don't know whether to try again. Has anyone else had trouble with applying for this. Most of other stuff has tracked including £20 for arranging a visit from Hilary Blinds (will let you know how the visit goes. Still not sure whether to apply for any of the gambling site offers. Plan for this week - list more books with Amazon / Green Metropolis (although to be honest never have much luck with these) Also OH has a lot of records, including some old Beatles that we have been told could be worth a bit. Can anyone recommend best way of selling these.0
