£1000 in four months challenge!!

ATB has dragged me kicking and screaming into this challenge, and I dare not resist!
I did the olympic challenge earlier this year, making over £3000, so have to go for gold on this one too. The money will be going directly off my Egg card as and when it is received, so a great incentive for me.

Hmmm.. I am very tempted to join you and go for the £500. I need to try and save about £400 for November when the lease on my current flat runs out and I need a deposit for a new place - never get the old one back in time do you? (it'd mean spending my savings before the challenge finishes though!)... another £100 on top of that would sort out Christmas for me as I don't tend to buy loads. Not much left to eBay here but I am looking for a second job and could do the change jar thing...plus any online stuff like Quidco - any tips on that would be very welcome!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Hi redsquirrel, dezzi has included a link in the 1st post to the original challenge - there are some great tips in there, esp. regarding Quidco. HTH xxMFW

I'm new, but going to shove my way in to join this challenge, too!!! I don't need very much money for Christmas as I don't have a family to feed or anything! So I'll go for the £500.
Thanks for the challenge.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Hi everyone. Count me in!!
Dezzie, you ickle challenge queen, I need a judgement call from you.
I got £100 pounds Quidco on my car insurance last night. Shall i add it to the first challenge (which I failed by just over £100) or shall I add it to this one?

Thanks for that, have found it and will run through them later. I recently discovered this similar site - http://www.mrmoneyback.com - which someone had mentioned on the forums somewhere... not looked too closely to see how it compares with Quidco but there seems to be quite a few free offers on there for 10-50p, if you can be bothered with lots of clicking and signing up for quiz sites etc.
Anyway, yep, I'm in!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hiya,
I am always watching this challenges but figure i'll take part in this one. I am definitely up for making some extra money, especially as i need to pay for my holiday to Turkey in October.
I will go for gold. I'll probably do the usual things, amazon, ebay, matched betting, daily clicks, survey sites and mystery shopping. Looks like were all going to be kept busy.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Don't think I'm going to count myself in for this one because I didn't do very well on the last one haha!
I will be watching intently though, can't help but look for those good moneymaking tips!
Now if there was a challenge for saving I would be in there!.....
