Thanks for your message! Busy over here, at starting_again towers!
Yes, have spoken to landlord and paid him £100. He is being incredibly supportive and has backed me with the HB situation. Just keeping him in the loop at the moment. So that's a worry off my mind.
Hope trade was as good again for you! It's odd those random days where it really picks up! I think you're doing brilliantly! Just focus on each day and have a rough POA in your head. I'm finding it's working well for me. Having my goals laid out, but just focusing on one little step per day to reach them!
When will you have to start looking into recruiting? xx
That is great news. Not having to worry about the roof over your head is such a basic requirement for human happiness. I'm glad your landlord has come around.
Yes I'm taking it a day at a time too right now. If things pick up enough I will start looking in September but this game is too short term to attract anyone serious at this early stage for October. The good news is where I am is one of the most foodie areas in London at the moment so there are a lot of people looking to be involved in various enterprises. Plus a ready supply of art students and the like who just want a few hours here and there. I do have the massive fall back option of closing up for a certain period after October as my rent will be paid up for the year them. Means no income but also no outgoings barring a couple of fixed payments like the PAYE I am repaying up to January. I would rather avoid this option but when scenario planning always good to think of all the possibilities.
It comes down as well to what sort of a baby I end up with. I pray to god they will be a healthy child with no complications but having seen two good friends go into labour at 32 weeks and end up with weeks between home and hospital and other children I know only too well how little control any of us really have when pregnant.
Loving your amazing inspiring updates and new signature!

I've been following your diary and wish you all the best of luck with all your goals - I am addicted to lists so find reading yours very pleasing
One question if I may and I apologise if it's rather simplistic - is there a possibility of seeking/closing one of your businesses? It sounds like you have taken on an awful lot - it's it worth it, both time and money wise. Just food for thoughtMFW!

Morning Bob,
Thank you! Sounds like you have a good plan, at least knowing the rent is covered must be a huge relief! Do you think it will affect business should you close it? Or because of the previous closure it doesn't worry you so much?
Hope you have a lovely day xx:D0 -

Hi Triangle! Thanks for popping by and taking the time to read my diary! I love lists too! It's much easier having everything written out than trying to juggle it all in my head!
Two of the 4 businesses are being closed (just not as simple as closing the doors, due to leases in place) but the other two are profitable so worth keeping as I intend to build these up again and make then bigger and better xx0 -
Hi starting_again
I've just read your diary and as others have commented I admire your strength and determination.
I sat down about 10 days ago, worked out my debts and burst into tears, thankfully all the good people on here have given me lots of ideas for cutting my costs and I've managed 3 NSD's this week!
I know you've mentioned that you claim tax credits, are you entitled to Free School lunches for the kids; might be worth checking.
Also I know I shouldn't encourage spending but I discovered my local leisure center do a 'Leisure Card' this is for families claiming WTC & CTC and an NHS exemption card. It entitles an adult to swim for £1 and kids 50p - just wondering if that might be a cheap treat for the kids at the weekends and with the summer holidays coming up ?
Good luck & I'll be following your diary xxLBM 18/06/15 - [STRIKE]£20,276.64[/STRIKE]

Hi Amorge,
Thank you so much
I don't think we're entitled to free school meals as I claim WTC and believe you can only claim CTC to be entitled, but I will certainly double check!
The leisure card sounds wonderful! I will most definitely look into this!! My poor children are really being dragged through the mill, whilst I am working on my debt busting. Life shouldn't be as it is for them which I why I want to do something about it asap!! xx0 -
