Hi guys, OH is off to southern ireland , I'm with TT , and have unlimited mobiles to uk and landline, but, don't think republic is in this package. Anyone know the cheapest/best way to call a mobile there from my landline.?

    Use your mobile.
I phone a Southern Ireland mobile almost daily.
Bye the far the cheapest is 'RINGO INTERNATIONAL CALLING'
Download & install the app on your smartphone. Its all done automatically.

I presume they are using a Eire mobile/landline number?

If they have a UK mobile its part of your plan(so free), but they have to pay to receive because they are roaming

    nothing wrong with old NOKIA

Have OH got a UK mobile with them?

If so its FREE for you to call, "have unlimited mobiles to uk and landline",

The landline to UK mobile call will be inclusive (not free) within your TT bundle. Your OH will incur a roaming charge on her mobile account while in ROI.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Hi guys, thanks for info, bit confused though, ( nothing new there)
OH is taking her Knokia, I'm at home on the landline which I have anytime BB and anytime free calls to uk landlines , and a boost,£5 which gives me unlimited free calls to mobiles within the UK, so, if other half is in Ireland, south, you are saying , I don't pay, but, OH picks up the RC .whatever price that is?

    in a word YES!

YOU are ringing a UK mobile

If o/h is roaming in Southern Ireland its still cheaper to receive than make a call

Typical is 18p a minute to make a call

only 4p to receive (tesco charges quoted)

Or get him/her visit Northern Ireland UK its free

Hi B, OH is starting in the North, then South then North again, so it's free to phone the North, as we do now, but, when OH is in the South, wasn't sure. which is best way to keep contact.Don't know TT 's prices, they have just raided them, NO, 0870.0845, free, within packages now.Cannot find their other charges.T mobile are the Mobile carrier, or EE now.

Forget about you & Talk Talk. Your calls are free in this instance.

What Mobile operator does your OH use on their Nokia mobile??
