My DB has a fan just for the dog
he just plugs it in, switches on and dog lies beside it. Not daft these dogs, are they, and the way she just looks at each of us when eating an ice cream - its the look that says, where's mine :rotfl:

Good luck with the interview!
Don't have second thoughts. If you don't want it when they offer it to you - say no thanks!

Hi
I am back, and had a fab time thanks. Am hoping to get away again later in the summer. In the meantime I have some sorting out to do here, a few decorating bits ( mostly bringing in other people - I really hate doing that!) and a bit of R & R. Still very warm here, no rain as yet. Good luck with the interview, whatever happens.

Been away for a few days to the caravan. Had a lovely time, and even won a bottle of whisky (not that its my tipple, still nice to have won something). So peaceful and beautiful scenery - never get tired of it.So now back rested and left in such a hurry, have came back to the usual weekend housey stuff:( 1st washing on.
Paid another £200 o/p seeing as payday is ThursdayWas having second thoughts about interview, but once there, was glad I went, found out more about the job, and decided it would be a joy to have. Unfortunately didn't get it - seems I need to up my skills on modern interviewing
and they have offered to give me some advice - not sure if that's a good thing or bad :rotfl::eek:
Weather starting to brighten up - so washings will go out on line. Need to take it slow today as not feeling 100%.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Saga still going on. Compiling letter of complaint tonight.
Ever think nothing is going right ? Need to find bank acc that pays good interest rate as running out of allowance to o/pso feel - don't have something arranged - lose all incentive
That's all for now as taking ages to type this - i's and k's not working first timeAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Hello AFK
Sorry to hear saga is ongoing. As for good interest rate, Santander 1,2,3 is 3% ( I think over £2000 and up to £20000) and gas been good for me. Depending on what you have available, there are also TSB, first direct and Santander regular savers between 5 and 6% though there are some rules attached yo these. If I was out of OP limit, I might consider transferring the cash to one ( or more) of these per month.
Sorry about your i's and k's!

TSB didn't have switch incentive when I applied, but it has 5% current account up to £2k plus regular saver 5%.. they give 5% cash back on contactless payments up to £100 pm.
First Direct has the £100 cash back, and regular saver 6% bu not the interest on the current account..
I use the FD as my salary... then the TSb as my savings.. and small spendsMortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
