  • Afternoon all...Exam well and truly done now.

    Hope that all are well.

We batch cook like Ali-OK - lots of curries, pasta sauce and quesadillas (all veggie). Have had frozen cauliflower & coriander soup - it was ok - just needed heating up properly. Frozen black bean soup was better. I think that as long as not frozen for months on end - then it is good.

We I have plenty of sub accounts - all split out on a spreadsheet and what its use is. I have virtual accounts for everything from holidays, car, stuff for the house, clothes - I find that for me, that is the best way.

Have a good rest of the weekend all.

Morning All, beautifully sunny morning, and a day off work :)

Need to get some basics (not food) but funny how before my MFW journey, I would be at the shops every weekend. Now I really don't want to go shopping, even when I need a couple of items, and hope I can stretch it out for another week :)

Buying for the garden is another matter however, as I love to see all the bulbs and plants start to flower :) I did buy a hanging basket filled with mini daffs, and other plants - lovely - and a bargain reduced to £1.25 :)

Spring is truly well on its way :)

Just thinking about the tasks I have to do and hope you knowledgeable and helpful lot would be able to suggest some ideas on selling a house

    - looking for ideas, hints and superstitions (not the baked bread, coffee aroma, type suggestions) but the unusual ones. Any lucky item you should have - I know Mr E would say a wicker Heart :) I did say Wicker not Wicked :D

Look forward to reading your views/ideas on what sells a house :)

House selling.................not sure I can help but here are my obs on house buyers

    1. Very few have the foresight to imagine a room as they want it, so neutral all the way
    2. Discard large furniture, most cannot judge size so when they see an extra large sofa they imagine their 2 seater is the same size.
    3. Create a "lifestyle" a life to envy will get the offers, so that's drinks on the patio (not barbie, means cooking, washing) sunset romantic seats
    4. Beware the MIL, DIL loves it but MIL will sure to hate it, lost cause viewer

    Hope that helps

I think Mr E's was slate - you could try wicker and compare notes :rotfl:.

When we sold a house 2 years ago it seems an overgrown garden complete with trampoline helped, plus a tatty hallway :o. Shortly going to sell one of our BTL's - I don't think there are enough hearts on sale to cover the mess it will be in .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks, GG :) Maybe that's where we're going wrong - Need a slate one :D or maybe both.

but will try anything :( (except buying a trampoline :D)

read about red flowers in the garden and something blue at the doorway - to keep bad vibes out (or something like that), and who has heard of burying St Joseph upside down facing the road near the "for sale" sign  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Seems a few believe in that

You must have been delighted on selling the overgrown garden with trampoline :D hope your next sells just as quick. Best of Luck.
