  • So, as I said had the day off today, but not feeling 100%, must be the toll of all the work I am doing.I have been a very busy bee of recent. However that said, have more than enough a/l to cover at least another unplanned day - a quick phone call and I now have tomorrow off :j I could get used to this lark ;)

Going to work out logistics of going down to a 4 day week and see what I come up with. However not 100%, which means a very slim chance of getting the particular day I have in mind :(

Cannot wait until tomorrow, then can finally see what I have left of my mortgage (as if I don't know - :doh:to the penny :rotfl:) but always nice to see in print.

Very much high's and low's just now, one minute I think ages to go, then get all excited about picking a date to finally clear it all. Whatever will I do, next

Lol! I just paid it off at the end of the fix. I wasn't worried about the date. I asked for a redemption figure valid on a date ( last day of the month) and that was it. Transferred the amount and all done!

    Bexster :)

4 day week sounds fab. worry less which day it is. Monday, weds, or Fridays are all fab days.

    Ah, I'm not in a fix . . . interruption again

Gritter passing (I hear we have snow on the way)

so I have 5 mile stone dates in mind all in December

    15th Dec - a special anniversary, 21st Mums Birthday, 24th - 6 years from the day I moved in,
then there is Xmas day and Hogmanay. Lots to choose from.

I would like a Monday, but not hopeful, and they do refuse some any day

Just choose a date that suits your OCD tendencies ( what a shame there isn't a 00 in any month!)

The date will quickly become irrelevant. If course, you could always look into another job. Then ask for part time with Monday off and if they refuse, take another job where you can have Monday off ( you can see why I wasn't a model employee at all times can't you?)

Hope the snow isn't too bad, if it comes.what are your day off plans?

lol!! No, but there is the time of day :rotfl: :p but that might be taking it just a bit too far.

Day off - had a lie in :) going to be beauty day - hair cut & colour, nails done, face massage, (about time I treated myself) then maybe some shopping before my pile of ironing :( then check up, then phone call re tomorrows duty (see if they want me there or not) so could be another day off tomorrow :j

Re work, will see how it goes.

Off to check my paper balance now :D

Sounds like a fab day ( apart from ironing!) I have also had a lie in. Weather is cokd here but beautiful so a walk in a bit. A little bit of prep work for the rest of the weeks teaching sessions then a couple of hours work late afternoon and cinema tonight.

    Have a great day

    Bexster:)
