Bank details on their way to you as we speak :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope your on the mend, oh and just o/p that sum of £ 267.89, so balance tomorrow should be just that 1 plus the interest they add on, which will also be o/p'd :j

Thinking of cancelling xmas just to get it done

  • So, this is how it goes . . . need to wait another day for my noughts to appear, bad H@lifax statement, it's always been a bit of a mess.

Pay one day, received next day, appears following day, takes ages, then there is the mortgage balance and sub account - they don't add up, haven't added up for ages, did ask, and they said they always add up/total up - no they don't, haven't for ages.

Grasping at straws really, however will wait yet another day as couldn't fathom out how much interest they added on till last night when it appeared, so now paid.

November is a terrible month for big bills :( always know that, and never really bothered me before, just this year, as its holding me back from being MF  (did I really say that !!!) :)
Patience, i've done all right so far. :silenced: &

I find Oct Nov big bills month, which is a pity so close to Christmas!

I agree, patience is needed. The end is in sight.

Good luck unraveling the mortgage conundrum!

    Bexster :)
  • Somebody was testing me today at work (think they wanted to see just how much c**p I would take before), - eventually telling myself - "I don't get paid enough . . ." for all this . . . :rotfl:

So mentally exhausted, in need of some sleep and food and since I ended up with about 20 mins for lunch, it was a quick carton of soup for me and an apple at break time.

On Monday it starts all over, again . . . no days off next week, well not yet anyway :D

Tomorrow is another day - may be spending what little money I have left on some tickets that went on sale today - only I couldn't get to them as at work :(

  • Up very early this morning, bed changed, washing on and ready for my shower.

Had a quick sneak peek at the mortgage balance and I have my penultimate 000.00 with my 1 in front. Next time I have my 000.00 I will be MF :j so countdown, could be months away yet :( as we have a visit from Santa amongst other things very, very soon.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I did hear the fireworks had been cancelled here due to the weather :( if yours is not, then keep safe.

    Good morning AFK

Sorry to hear of bad day yesterday. I well recall those days too.

Am also up early. Weather here is currently promising.

    Have a restful day

    Bexster :)
  • Evening Bexster,
weather here was terrible all day long, and continued to go from bad to worse, should have just stayed at home.
So now sitting, down in the dumps, and not even my mortgage balance can cheer me up.

New day tomorrow, with loads still to do, so looks like an early start for me again.

Morning AFK, many thanks for sending poor weather here :D

Hope it is an improving weather picture there. I have plans today but mostly not outdoor thankfully!

If I get down time on terrible weather days, I try to make the most of the chance to do a bit of baking or batch cooking/ soup making ( soooo Rick and roll!!!!). Or truly lazy, snuggle up with a hot chocolate and a good book ( extra lazy points if an audiobook!!)

    Hope you get everything done

    Bexster :)
  • Morning all

This morning started the day with a £10 o/p, had interest to 2 accounts so added £1 odds to make up to the £10 even :)

Got to the stage yesterday when I was hoping someone would turn the tap off :rotfl:so far, so good, and look on the good side - at least it's not the cold I sent !!! yet :D

Lots to do, so off to make a list and make sure I get through at least some of them. Should have asked for the Monday off :( Never mind, hopefully only another 6 months of this, but not really worked out the pros, cons and financials yet. Too soon.

Enjoy your lazy / batch cooking/ soup making day - or maybe it will clear up :)
