A star is born is fab! I can also recommend the new Johnny English movie.
Annual leave? Short working week? What are these things of which you speak?
Sounds like a productive day. I shall watch the letter box. I think a second a/l day needed as a sunny day gore ast again tomorrow

Another lovely sunny morning but frosty.
Confession timeI have been browsing the internet at - houses  but don't worry (well not yet, anyway) just so nice to see them empty - I need inspiration as feel I am a bit overcrowded with furniture and need a bit of space
maybe because I need a place for everything and everything in its place
(I do have that actually, so just need to get motivated and put everything where it should be :rotfl:).
Debating whether to keep my side line on or wind down - need a good think through about that one
I need time atm, something I don't have much of
Have tomorrow off :j and had plans, but as always, something else crops up, and its the only time I have that I can do it, so need to arrange another a/l day soon, maybe I'll just have next Monday
Time is fast approaching, when I need to decide what I really want to do  there is just so many choices. Need to sit down and think through, as I do with every big decision.
Have a problem with my front door, so need to dig out the guarantee to see if still valid.
Got paid last Thursday, but since the 1st of the month is not till next week, I'm telling myself I don't get paid till then :rotfl: that way, it will only be a 4 week(er) instead of 5and I can do my money shuffle then
So far only basics bought at Aldi's yesterday. £8 spent, happy with that.
Loads to do, so off to make a start, and hopefully will find time to update tonight.
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Good morning AFK
By what to do, do you mean with all the newfound freedom you will soon have?:D
Is the sideline something you love? Could you keep it low key until you have more time, then see how it builds again? Or was it just a means to an end?
Too many questions for a Sunday morning! Extra hour or not!!:rotfl:
Hope you get everything you need to done. Sunny morning here too

Morning Bexster
No plans, no deadlines.
Yes, and No, honestly had thoughts of phasing down work, but, that's still a tie.
part time work
part time work and side line
part time work and side line for a year
got a list of "wants"
kitchen/bathroom/radiators/new fascia's&guttering/inside doors,
loft rooms and garage - don't drive - so make that a summer house
Oh and I want a nice shiney white smile :rotfl:
take pension and run
go somewhere sunny and live for 6 months (now there's a thought)
don't really want to think about the possibilities until I'm there.
so you can see, thoughts (that should be lots) to think about but still have a bit of time.
Confused.com - that's me
ps - do I need to buy a hat, yet?Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
So after my frugal shopping, I went to LId1's - spent £22.00 but more than happy with that, as they were doing the XXL salmon steaks and had 30% off - 2 bags bought with 6 steaks in each, and they are delicious, had one for dinner tonight along with potatoes and coleslaw, i'm such a fussy eater.
However my meal tonight got me wondering - I don't need to spend a fortune on food  penny drops, so came to the conclusion - I buy too much, way far too much. Freezers are crammed - again, will clean them out - again and start using more out of it. Trouble is I have favourites and tend to stick to them, so other food I buy - never seems to get usedThen there is the ice lollies :rotfl: I know in this weather - and my cornetto's - yum.
Been working flat out for the past 3 days - hopefully will reap the rewards in the next few months.
Had today off - again, but was working on other stuffso going in tomorrow to ask for next Monday off too - I could get used to this

Hello AFK
Lots of thoughts ( I would certainly consider go somewhere sunny for x months). Some nice "wants".
Whilst I was reading your Lidl post I was thinking " how delightful that for £22 shop you can buy a dozen salmon steaks, and all whilst trying to be mortgage free". But I do know what you mean about freezers and cupboards being full. I have a list on my freezer of contents that I ( try) to update as I add/remove stuff.
I'm only up at silly o'clock as I'm a bit under the weather and waiting for the drugs to kick in before going back to bed! :rotfl:
Another four day week for you next week then?!?!
Don't buy the hat, but start keeping your eye out for one you like....
Bexster0 -
Hi Bexster
Had to do a "screw eyes up" when I saw the time you posted, thought the clock was wonky.
Hope the drugs  kicked in, and you eventually got a good sleep.
:doh:Who forgot to ask for the day off - there's always tomorrow.
As for my shop - it will save me in the long run - and I don't scrimp on the food I love, there's just some things I will not give up. Anyway the steaks only took up half my spends, got loads more for my £22 :money:
Being doing a bit of a money shuffle, but can't do a proper one till probably the 2nd of the month, will just watch the balances and transfers and as soon as they all hit, I'll be there shuffling away:dance::dance:
I'm steadily growing to like the idea of going away for the winter next year - just pie in the sky for me at the moment - a girl can dream . . .
I've now got a hat fund started . . .;)
Hope you feel better soon.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
