Sorry to hear of possible dark clouds, hope you are enjoying your break away.

Even if things slow down due to circumstances beyond your control, that was the point of overpaying, to put yourself in a stronger position. You are doing fantastically well, don't worry about the dark clouds, they might pass overhead without rain!

Thanks Bexster,

We will see, not really my dark clouds, but things happen for a reason, (my mortgage has just reduced by £200) probably so I can help others out for now.

It's not raining yet :) still have a few tricks up my sleeve ;) My glass, as they say, is always half full.

Actually thought it was next week I got paid, how did I manage that ?? instead of tomorrow :D, but next month is a 5 week(er) :(

And so, rise in pay this month, but don't get too excited - no back money - they do love stretching this out :( told it will be next month before we get the back pay that was promised end of June ;)

Not sure what to do with it yet - didn't want to, until in the hand, and all that.

Not much other news for now, e bay trickling along, and my beloved website LP was another to hit the dust, so lost out on £20 there before they changed it, reason I now claim as I go along, for the sake of justin case. Speaking of which £9 claimed from surveys completed.

Eating out of freezer going well - and may actually have a shelf empty by the end of the week :rotfl:only to fill it again.

Updated my MFiT and have 000.00 at the end of my mortgage :D, so my little "knotty knots" are paying off.

Good morning AFK. Is the back pay likely to be substantial? ( I guess the longer they make you wait for it, the more interest it will have accrued which will be owed right?!?:o)

I ask because I KNOW what you will want to do with it;)

Could you do half and half? The second half involving something fun?
For example, a friend and I are off to a spa for the day today. I'm hoping it has an outside pool too!

Have a good day

Morning Bexster - substantial - that would be a No . . . the interest did cross my mind - but no hope there.

I also know, but did think I could just treat myself as long overdue. Could buy flights for later in the year, now that would be nice, and still have a few euros left, Oh, I'm liking this idea as I type, so a short break in the winter months, Think I have decided, for now.
Enjoy your spa day, and do hope they have an outside pool as it is set to be scorchio! :)

Had a little disaster on the way home tonight, was walking slightly funny thinking there was something wrong with my sandals, the sole had split right across and was flapping about - trouble was, the strap was still attached :o so there I was, flapping my sole all the way home :o can see the funny side now :rotfl: but a little embarrassing to say the least, luckily it's a quiet route home.

Shopping at the weekend - guess what is 1st on the list. ;) Gone is my rise.

Batched up my pakora into bags and now in the freezer, lunch made, melon and pineapple sliced, fridge cleaned out, bins emptied, and floor washed, so time now to sit for 5 mins.

Then off to dig out another pair of walking sandals

Glad all that was injured was your pride AFK! Based on the forecast, wellingtons may be more appropriate than sandals today.

Beautiful hot day here, so sandals today, although were certainly not as comfy as my last pair, although real black clouds are looming, so maybe not need them for much longer.

:rotfl:Ah, you and your colleagues must work in the same place as me, as huge issues with the water supply atm (has been for some time) all hush hush :shhh: So have been taking in my drink (soft) that is,for breaks and lunch to work every day. :DNever got my sandals either, as thunder storm hit Friday night and a lot of showers yesterday, so still have my rise to spend :D
