Turning out another beautiful sunny morning here and mild too, so may just manage to get the last of the winter garden tidy done.

Kitchen all tidy now, may just start on that pantry that is still patiently waiting for me to venture into and sort, but another offer on listing/selling fees on the b@y may just hinder that.

Got home after work forgetting I was to receive a parcel from BT :eek: no parcel had arrived by the time I arrived home, sitting wondering how on earth do I get info/phone no to phone them without internet connection, sky had obviously disconnected me :eek: However 15 mins later and I had 3 parcels in my hand. Now linked up to new internet and so far, its fine. Will do the tv connection tomorrow as can't be bothered tonight - too tired.

3 parcels posted off today and another 1 to go tomorrow, very happy with that.

One month countdown for your C preparations then! I have also begun mine. Bathroom has been on my mind for a while, my hand has been somewhat forced however. Have considered shower only but I like a bath and I agree re:resale. Will keep you posted.

We've done hall stairs and living room, and all it's done is trigger conservatory talk, which'll trigger new kitchen talk, then bathroom....it's never ending!

I got a quote in the summer for 2 walls to be tiled in the bathroom (rooms about 12 ft by 12ft) bearing in mind one wall was tile 3/4 of it and the other was only the top half (bath at bottom) and window there too and it was £1,000 not including the tiles :eek::eek::eek:

As I need a bath a shower and a new window the cost has spiralled so think I will do it myself to be honest :D

Bexster - Oh no ! ! Did I say I would have my C shopping done in a month :eek: pressures on, then.

SJ - seems like that, doesn't it? round and round we go, I do that every week with the chores that need done.

SueP - £1000, just wait till I show my DB this, I have tiled 2 kitchens for him, and my own kitchen - those bl**dy plugs though, 6 doubles and 1 single - murder to cut round. As for the bathroom in his renovation house, he used "wetwalls" so much easier to use and keep clean (no need to re-grout as time goes by).

So Sue - you go for it, I loved it, just watched a few hints and tips, and started. Loved it.

Wish H@lif@x would get their finger out and sort their mortgage website statements, my mortgage figures change even though nothing has changed on my statement since the 7th Oct :mad: makes me mad, how hard can it be, to show a true statement without adjusting all your mortgage figures and not showing the interest added on the statement, will take them around 4 days before its all back to normal. Rant over for another month.

Inspector showed up today and apologised for not showing up yesterday, was told no one had been here since WED !! he's sorry but here to take photos - WHAT !! then will order the next lot of materials - WHAT !! how long will that take ?? a couple of days, what on ever, they have quoted, but don't know what materials they will need !! Feel like getting up that scaffolding myself - job done :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: actually its like and A frame peak . . . . . . just thinking . . . . it would be quite nice to have like 3 windows fill that space instead of concrete . . . . . . just thinking . . . . . :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Claimed 2 surveys in p'cone, still checking LP, LPostcode, LB. Lost out on £20 with TCB - some blip in the system:( and have some more cash in PP. Thats all the updates until H@lif@x decide to give me a proper mortgage figure which I can then OCD level out just need to re-check my figures, don't want a penalty of any sort. Off to check.

Facts and Figures at 2/11/16

O/p £6.97 so far, and waiting for correct figures on statement before I do anything else.

Since o/p my allowance (you'll never hear the end of this :rotfl:) I made a new target to reach £1000 by the end of Dec, and guess what I've only gone and reached that too not thinking of any more targets till the NY.

Received my survey's reward, removed all monies and added to bank funds, so I can start afresh in a new month. Going out tomorrow night but its a freebie, so only travelling and a packet of sweeties cost, more on that tomorrow night, or if too late back the next night.
