Thanks mrsp, giblet, tattycath and MFD's. Hopefully things will all work out, house and work wise.

Another early start this morning, beautiful sunny morning here , Bexster will be out on her balcony and so would I, if I had one. One side of kitchen all clean and tidy, and dishes done. Bed done, all ironing done - always pleased to have that done early morning,
Was up in the loft, just to make sure there was enough room incase workmen needed access., was told they did, then told, they didn't. What ! ! do I not have up there, I'm sure I could kit out another house, forgot about a lot of the [STRIKE]stuff [/STRIKE]treasures, I bought when renovating this house, like SueP could really use going to a car boot sale, but not to buy items to sell them. However, how on earth would I get a bathroom suite, 2 rolls of carpet and 2 rolls of lino, 2 sets of golf clubs and countless other items into a car boot Not getting rid of the carpets, they are gorgeous and expensive tartan/check ones, so keeping them until one of the rooms need replacing.

MFD's - that's the worst part, sorting and listing, it takes me ages, as I go the old fashioned route, must be a simplier way, just not sure, how :o Will look forward to your posting on Wed, to see how many you managed to sort and list, it's the best time to sell, you know.

Off to list some more on the b@y, really need to get items out, c@sh in, as I had quite a spendy day, yesterday, again :o All needed items and all bargains :)

  • Its a lovely morning here in north London.
Washing was out on the line early this morning for us and we got the weeks shopping done too...
AFK - just remember to take care of yourself and remember to breathe..!

I've got rid of a few stuff for free and for sale through Streetlife - it has literally been a lifesaver for us. Gumtree has come in handy for books and other ACCA books that I can't sell, I will be giving to the local charity shop for them to sell...

Back to sort out my budgets now, as have not done so for about a fortnight, not good but there we go. RL too busy. Study after that.

    Take care all

  • Keeping a low profile, as don't want to keep on moaning re "saga" but here it comes anyway,

Mon - turned up :j10.00am, took what we thought was a break at 10.30am, but no - they were gone - total work for the day 30 mins.Tues - no show
Wed - done maybe 1-2 hours (generous) work - then gone
    Thurs - no show
Frid - no show - phoned, said it might be because of the rain - What RAIN ???? its sunny

And onto other business - was waiting on the email to come out with dates of o/t for Nov, didn't appear, by the time I asked, 1 FRIDAY night left - so have told them in no uncertain terms - not happy  was planning on doing at least one night per week, would have helped me immensely  This will be brought up at next meeting, but doesn't help me now, and who wants to do o/t in Dec.

Spent £17 on topping up all the little extras to hopefully keep me going for a week or two before spending any ££'s from this months salary. And the b@y is selling items at a trickle, but happy enough with what's happening there, could be better but could be a lot worse.

My BT box should arrive Mon, then will probably spend the next two nights figuring it all out.

Washings done, bedroom tidy, had a bit of a lazy day, then dinner out.

  • Sorry Bexster, just saw your post there, a bathroom refit - must tell me all about it, I need one too, but its at the back of my mind, can't decide whether to do away with the bath and put in a double shower or keep the way it is, (thinking if I sell, its really a family house/flat call it what you like, 3 beds) dither, dither

Not ready for any/anymore workmen at the present anyway, although I'm sure my DB would be able to do a lot of it himself :D depends on my reshuffle.

H of C - getting to be a habit :D enjoy yourself. I've also started the C or X word :rotfl: lets hope I've got everything needed by 1st Dec - my target.
