What constitutes as basic? The Audi A3 was all about options like the BMW. You cannot say the BMW 'SE' version is cheap and basic compared to the M Sport because the SE can be spec'd for more options if desired. Choosing between the BMW SE and M Sport will depend on whether you want a firm ride or a comfortable cruiser. Likewise to the Audi A3 SE and A3 Sport or the later S line. My A3 still has extra options like cruise control, auto light and rain sensors, rear view dimming mirror, upgraded speakers and radio and rear parking sensors.

The main differences between the Sport over the SE are the fog lights, slightly lower/stiffer suspension and slightly bigger alloys. The main differences between the SE over the Sport are interior luggage and storage pack, interior lighting pack, front centre arm rest etc.

The SE and Sport used to be the same price and you just chose which you preferred.

If you're cruising on the motorway all the time you'll choose the SE over the sport for its comfort, simple. One isn't 'better' than the other, it depends on your preferences.

If you mean 'cheap' as in entry level engine than that would be the 1.6 litre petrol NA with NO options- which my car is far from.

Jeez. How thick are you? Let me spell it out for the hard of understanding:

    No
    One
    Cares.

I heard your extra options were all in the back garden.

    Who knows?

You've lied about your car so much, we don't care.

For Christ's sake give it a rest and go back to playing with your toys, are you so thick that you cannot realise that no one cares about your fantasies.

Darkmatter - just a thought for you, instead of spending all your spare time fantasising over cars you'll never actually own - why not try getting a girlfriend? (trust me they are a lot more exiting than 0-60 times) or boyfriend even, if that floats your boat - you could even discuss the merits of different lubricating oils togather
