Acceleration of different cars

Pretty sure that even the Lexus LFA can beat any motorbike round the Nurburgring.
Just googled the fastest motorcycle lap of the Nurburgrimg and it did it in 7:49 minutes. That too it wasn't a road legal motorcycle but a racing one. To put that into context the Ferrari Enzo did it in 7:25 minutes. And ~25 second difference is HUGE.0 -

Yeah and it's already been pointed out to you darkmatter a powerful bike can be bought for three grand. What's an Enzo cost?
Yet again you've broken a promise with another pointless thread.0 -
Nothing is pointless if people are learning about something. And there are more 'ordinary' cars like the Golf GTI and Ford Fiesta ST in that drag race too, to see how they do against more expensive cars like the Porsche 911 Turbo and GTR0

But it's more !!!!!!!! from you.
As you clearly keep pointing out most just drive Eco boxes and simply aren't interested in your imaginary Datsuns.0 -

My friend had a Hyabusa, after encountering a SMIDSY in a fiesta he decided his riding days were over, so brought it back from the insurance co and put the engine into a caterham type kit car chassis. That was :rotfl::T0 -

Until you have an accident.
I climb for fun, still wouldn't catch me on motorbike at least if I get killed climbing it'll be my own fault.0 -
I ride and drive. Bike wins in several areas - most notably that it's the only activity where I can completely switch off from everything else - no worrying about work or other things can fit in your brain when you're on a motorcycle.
Car wins in others. Comfort, safety, load carrying etc.
It's not all about speed, Darkmatter. My 1200GS will do 0-90 in what, a bit over 6 seconds? That's all good fun, but my old Cater-like would do similar and would stop and turn better - but would I always take the car? No.
Oh yeah - none of my 'fast' toys have ever cost me more than six grand. I've spent a hell of a lot more than that on reasonably-rapid 'everyday saloons'.
ETA: Of course, I also forgot to mention that I can not only accelerate quickly on my bike, which is great for playing 'Billy Big-Balls' down the pub, but I can also ride it around on dirt tracks, rocky roads, across bogs, and through rivers. Look at me, Darkmatter! Look how big MY willy is!*
*Oh, and BTW... my dad's bigger than your dad.0 -

Only reason the bike cant really go quicker than 2.7 (which is faster than a Nismo BTW) is that anything quicker would see it swap ends. Even Motogps only accelerate to 60 in about that time (but maintain the acceleration to silly levels).
Stuff like Busas, 'Blades and the like could easily be tuned to go faster but physics gets in the way.
That is where cars have it better - stability and braking - but you can pick up a decent second hand 'Blade for a couple of grand and pretty much annihilate 99.5% of cars on the road and what does beat it will need a mortgage to get hold of.
