A couple of people missed some vouchers yesterday on 1st as they were over the limit amount set. Although its states calendar month it doesn't appear that is always the case. Im not up to my limit for previous month however I don't want to risk losing any.

Morning guys and gals, one of them was me and after adding all receipts up, I was under by a few pounds but that doesnt include my dh's account. If that was included I would be well over. So either way what they did give me as part payment doesnt make sense.

Morning all, I hope everybody is well. Haven't got time to read back properly, just the last couple of pages, so hugs to those that need them
Off on my hols later today, so this will be my last post for a couple of weeks. You will probably have moved by the time I get back and I hope that all those MIA will return.
Happy shopping, take care, bye for now.

    Good Morning everyone!
I am late to the Walkers party, can I ask, pretty please, what is the most cost effective way of getting codes as I don't have any means of getting the large boxes locally? thank you

Thank you very much hornetgirl :)
We are going to Tenerife. Been there several times to the same hotel. We mostly holiday in the Canary Islands because the weather (fingers crossed) is usually good, and the hotel food is also good. We go all inclusive and I usually weight a ton by the time I get back :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Heron Foods, B&M or Home Bargains seem to be the cheapest for the crisps approx. 10-20p per pack sizes also vary.

There's an "00800" number to ring, on the coupons, if I'm having trouble using them (which, this time, I am!). Daft question - is an 00800 number free (from landline)? 0800 is free but 00800?

Things change tomorrow (in other words in under half an hour's time) - in order to make things "simple", they're making the system far more confusing and more complicated than it ever was before. 0800 apparently to be free from mobiles (I may be wrong on anything in this post as this just my recollection) but 0845, which is within my inclusive calls (but not 0345), is now apparently going to be an access charge from the network operator then a service charge from whoever you are ringing. (Told you it was more complicated.) Only the access charge part is within the inclusive. Thus, in my mind, the call is no longer inclusive at all (paying xp per minute, who knows however much, to the person you're ringing). They may eventually change things so that the service charge is within the inclusive call payments. Which I have to ensure that people do not run up a bill.

So, it's back to me refusing to ring anything other than a geographic number now. I tentatively included ringing 0845 when I 'discovered' they (but not 0345) were included in my inclusive and therefore were 'free' (i.e. no extra as I've paid for it already) but now the service charge...!:eek: I cannot be sure on any number now except only geographic numbers. Not even 00800:rotfl:.

Previously I was fine - it's this new "simplified" thing that they've done, claiming that it reduces confusion, that confuses me.

EDIT: "UK Calling" it is called. Designed to make the cost of calling "clearer". According to them. Clear as absolute mud. The service charge, apparently, is supposed to be stated by whoever you are calling - but I have no confidence whatsoever that they will do so or how I will find out, in advance, what the cost of calling will be. Previously I knew and it was entirely clear - it was 0845 and included in my inclusives therefore cost nothing. Now, I have no idea and it is totally UNclear!:p Therefore the only thing I can do is no longer ring any 0845 number as I cannot now be sure and do not know what they will cost me. I'm in a total loss to understand what the call cost will be and in a state of being in complete unclearness on the matter!

A bit behind so not sure if this has been answered already ...

"00 800" numbers are Universal International Toll Free (UITF)numbers. It is a way of being able to publish the same phone number across about 45 countries that support this type of number service. Effectively you are dialling internationally (using the 00 prefix from the UK) but the call is still free for you to make.
