    Good morning - it's a lovely day again :)

Am I just unlucky or is it a waste of time getting these Walkers crisps?
Went into Morrisons yesterday - no problem. Went into Asda and they refused to accept the coupon (I bought a £4 block of cheese and some crisps) and they said cheese didn't count as it had to be sandwiches. Went into tesco and nearly had it refused again - I bought assorted food items for £5.50.
    Anyone else having problems?
    Abe.

Just unlucky with your choice of cashier I guess, I cashed in three yesterday in two shops and no problem. One did ask if I had bought the items in the picture (I hadn't as had a multipack but chanced it on self scan) and they authorised.

You can see why they would question though as the promo material (and voucher) show a meal deal, it is just we are using their wider definition of lunch :) (still within the T&Cs but bound to cause confusion or issues, particularly if stores have suffered from voucher abuse in the past as they lose out).

Good morning all, lovely sunny day :D

Hopefully my freezer will be fixed today, engineer due between 13:14 and 16:14!

I got a bit of a curiosity in Lidl yesterday - a seedless watermelon! Didn't even know they existed!

    (((lfab))) hope you're ok.

Has anyone else noticed an odd thing with MSE since yesterday. When you click on a link - for instance last night's one where Tiny and Mildred were dancing to The Mavericks - instead of opening a new window, it changes the current window to whatever the link is. Then, when you close the link, the window is gone and you have to reopen MSE. I noticed it yesterday on the PC, but as that is a bit old and carpy I assumed a setting had gone wrong somewhere, but same issue now on iPad. I wonder if they've been messing about with things at MSE towers again.

    Morning all :)

Morning, yes I noticed that a couple of days ago, it's really annoying. If anyone knows how to stop it then ideas gratefully received:)
Hope you all enjoy your Friday :)

Sorry to hear you are having problems.
Get them to scan the bar code on the back of the voucher, and also read the T&C on the back. It clearly states you can use it against ANY FOOD ITEM as long as you buy one bag of crisps per item.
Stand your ground, there are trouts out there, but don't be put off.
Will report back later on how I get on with my vouchers against the weekly shop (plus crisps of course). x

If using chrome on a PC (or other browsers maybe) then hold down CTRL when you click the link and it will open in a new tab.
