Good morning all, another warm one here.
Nanny, you have a wonderful son, not everyone would take the time to stop, that poor chap must have gained some comfort from that.
We have some outside work on today, will probably be dodging the rain form the sounds of it!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Good morning
We had thunder and lightning here to last night but seems to have cleared the air
Looks like another beautiful day blue sky's and hardly any clouds0 -
Morning all.
Have any of you read the Moneysaving email this week? What a load of twaddle! It's basically rehashing old things (I get a mention yet again from a post I made years & years ago), there's virtually nothing new in it.
Has everyone gone on holiday or is there just nothing happening that can be stolen by them any more? So much of what has being written is totally out of date too. Hmmmmmm!0 -
Morning all
It's a lot fresher here this morning but there has been no thunder:(
They reckon on the local weather that me might get rain that won't reach the ground again :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Good morning Elite
I've been taking a look at the Walkers T&Cs (thanks again OP). Section 6.1 says this
Promotion and Promotional Period:
Walkers Lunch 1 in 6 promotion (winning participants will receive up to £4.00 (UK, CI, IOM) / €5.00 (ROI) off their next lunch):
The opening date for receipt of entries is 00:01 12th April 2015 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 23:59 11th July 2015. Any entries received before the opening date or after the closing date will not be accepted. The closing date for winning participants to claim their prize is 23:59 10th August 2015.
Can I check my interpretation of this, that as long as we've checked the code by end of 11 July, then we can save the winning emails with the codes in, and we have until 10 August to click on the Claim now and select the postal/shopi/paypal method to receive a coupon? Meaning the coupon's could potentially last us until 24 August!?????
Would appreciate the elite's perspective! Many thanks0 -
Good morning all. Looks like it will be another pleasant day.0

I really am out of touch with 'small talk'!:o:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
(I don't apologise as, perhaps, it provides useful information - if though probably not best at 20 minutes to midnight!)
Okay, totally unrelated, for now, goodnight!:)
For some yes 20 min to midnight is fine, but today 9am is better for me- but very interesting info on the salt/sugar etc content of value products- and you cant beat an old fashioned bar of soap- the downside being unless you use a soap dish, soap sticks to the basin when not in use- so more cleaning:eek:0 -
Thanks still trying to catch up and go wombling and walkers
Working out for me at 9 winners per box of 48 not bad for £4.80
Its boring as hell not as much fun as a glitch but it fills the cupboards and the food bank will get the crisps
That's what we are doing. One Home Bargains we went to yesterday only had salt and vinegar yesterday, neither of us eat them but we bought 15 and these will go into the food bank
I've got 3 bags of various bits now - just have to time it right so I am there when the food bag collection point has been newly emptied so there is space.
The food bank trolley in Asda does not even have a sign on it, just a random trolley sat on the side, don't really trust it now so I use the official one at Tesco“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
