The following may be of interest if you are ordering for C&C or HD (going through them first):

Also

Just had that email. But no mention of what they are doing instead. Very strange.
Remember my story of Tosco rejecting my berry coupon because strawberries are not berries? I just included that in my Orchard review. and that got rejected. On the grounds that I should have contacted them to tell them at the time and I can only write reviews when I have tried the product. Except that I put in the review that I had paid for the product because the coupon was rejected. Obviously they only read the bits they want. sigh!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Nothing would surprise me with T.
I've had strawberries not being berries and today they told me they don't take the bonus £10 vouchers that they themselves send out as rewards for tesco home panels.
No, my opinion of T has significantly improved after this. Seems they are more likely to accept anything as they can just deduct the cost of the milk manually. Other stores, problem seems to be they don't want simply to enter the price.
T is also my nearest 'reasonable-priced' store these days. That's after I exclude S, which isn't reasonably priced:rotfl:.0 -
Well firstly, if Manchester airport is closed due to bad weather, no-one will be landing there whether from London or further afield.
I don't think Manchester is as badly effected by weather as say Gatwick.
If you were diverted, airports action depends on a variety of things. If the crew are out of flying time then they can't fly you up as a single plane load without getting another crew. If you are diverted it could be to Liverpool or Birmingham as easily as London. One thing for sure, the airline is responsible for getting you to final destination whether it is bus, train or plane.
We were diverted to East Midlands from Inverness once instead of Manchester and we got bussed back to Manchester0 -
Just done the walkers 5 - one of yesterdays packs was a winner :j
Today in Home Bargains there was only salt and vinegar leftbut I said to OK we might as well get some - I can put them into the food bank trolley in Mr Ts
Of these 2 were good :j
4 of my first batch of vouchers arrived today. We were going to Morribobs for salad so I split the shopping into 2 lots - paid 20p for one lot and £1.80 for the 2nd - OH impressed.
I was going to get value water for 18p - we needed it anyway but I though if the assistant was difficult I could say on the blurb a soft drink is optional - water is a soft drink
No value water left
For the walkers element I found Walkers wotsit multipacks of 6 for £1 :j - better value than buying a single pack and also I don't like the gloopiness on my teeth so I wont be tempted to eat more than one pack at a time - house full of crisps but no flavours I actually eat so it will have to be wotsits
But assistant made no comments and just scanned the vouchers :T
Just as well as it's always a penny more expensive than it 'needs to be' in M!:p It's okay, I'm missing the point.
It now seems to be that the "value" water in T is spring water - at least it was in my store - rather than tap water. Shush, don't tell A! So, if you think spring water is worth paying 1.7p extra for...(can be used as neutral filler - or two, one still, one sparkling, subject to your store's availability or otherwise). Or if you can't get to A.0 -
Evening all
Not been on here for a couple of days. As making the most of the walkers. so lots to catch up on
Been buying two boxes a day and its worked out
Got three boxes to do now
Anyone got any suggestions on the best things to buy I was hoping for a BOGOF deal or something similar
Did a few toblerone shops with the walkers but getting board with that one returns just under £2.50 on a voucher0 -

Hasn't been as warm today for me, only reached 27 degrees
But didn't you, in Aberdeenshire, have that nice day earlier in the year when the rest of us were shivering at below 10 degrees? I seem to think Aberdeenshire was the only good place in the UK that day. I acknowledge that, on average, I've probably had it better now than you - but 26 degrees eh?, not too bad!
In fact we probably have 23 degrees tomorrow, which isn't bad, but forecast maybe a lot of rain to spoil it:(.0 -
On catch up but just wanted to say thanks to DeeDeeMFW 2013 #146 Target £6000

I've 'picked that up', it's very prominent in the stores. Doesn't mean owt though, they may or may not. Didn't think 10% off £1.62 was that good, but I wasn't able to factor in the CB. The Haagen-Dazs that someone mentioned yesterday is still at £2 in M - but don't know whether to target T or M as either now may come or go - I'll leave it off the list as it's common knowledge anyway.:)0
