Yes that's something I've not thought about - its quite a possibility - if this happens, diversion to London, do they bus them up to Manchester or do they make them wait a day and fly them up?

Well firstly, if Manchester airport is closed due to bad weather, no-one will be landing there whether from London or further afield.

I don't think Manchester is as badly effected by weather as say Gatwick.

If you were diverted, airports action depends on a variety of things. If the crew are out of flying time then they can't fly you up as a single plane load without getting another crew. If you are diverted it could be to Liverpool or Birmingham as easily as London. One thing for sure, the airline is responsible for getting you to final destination whether it is bus, train or plane.

Morning guys and gals, have just had the dreaded message on APG to say limit reached for this month and lost £8. I thought 1st of the month was a new start, have I got this wrong. Hope you are all coping with the heat, I have water spray and fans on which really helps, but have to go out now which I am not looking forward to.
Thanks guys if you can throw any light on this.

This happened to me last month, I have an awful feeling that the month starts again on the first day that you claimed evouchers the previous month - I can't work it out at all. The terms and conditions clearly state it's per calendar month, but i know from experience it's definitely not xxx

A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together ;)

I love that mouthwash. Doesn't burn. It's like watching a lava lamp

At least that reassures me it's meant to look like that. Good to know it might have an alternative use too lol.

I'm planning to use mine for baking requirements coming up - thinking toblerone shortbread, and also going to make up some kind of toblerone tiffin/rocky road. I've also seen recipes for toblerone fudge which would make nice presents! :)

Don't forget TM's toblerone cheesecake recipe, it's delicious.

Thanks Coupon Kathy, never had this before on old system or have I just been lucky. What day did you get this message, was it 1st of the month?. Will look back on my delivery notes and try to work it out.

Good afternoon am feeling sad but very proud of my DS...he has just rang me to say he sat with a young man who obviously wanted to end his life until he slipped away:AMy DS is aHGV driver and was coming along the Motorway and saw a guy laying on the ground with a couple of people beside him so he pulled over to see if he could help and could see he was fading fast so he knelt beside him and held his hand till he went and said"Mum I hope there will be someone around to hold my hand when the time comes":AThe young man had cut his wrist and then jumped of a bridge onto the Motorway.I was worried about my DS but he said he is okay.
I apologise for the way I have offloaded this on the thread but it was such an unexpected phone call.
