Just had a look to see if I could change my user name to avoid confusion with the original curlgirl, no luck, don't know if anyone can help please?morning no afternoon curl girl (with a space:D)
don't think there is any probs with us having similar names as neither of us post that often, and I'm sure 90% of people just skim read the posts and never look to see who has written it.
I don't think it's a problem we have two tweets/Tweets. One with a capital and one without and we remember.
Now we know we have two curlgirls one with a space and one without. It will be fine.0 -

Did anyone else get a free sample of Dentyl Active mouthwash in the post today? Not sure I like the look of it. Funny blue stuff floating on top of murky green liquid.
I love that mouthwash. Doesn't burn. It's like watching a lava lampI have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammarMortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:

My order for 8 tobs to save for Christmas, lol, was subbed for 32 100g bars!!!!!!!!! still compared as expected but now not really suitable for pressies, hey ho.
Could you make them into a Christmas Cracker shape - people might appreciate getting 4 smaller portions - if they're anything like me they might feel they can make them last longer (for me once something is opened, regardless of size, it's gone quick).
I'm planning to use mine for baking requirements coming up - thinking toblerone shortbread, and also going to make up some kind of toblerone tiffin/rocky road. I've also seen recipes for toblerone fudge which would make nice presents!0 -

I checked the direct.gov website and it says you have to take the insurance off. Usually its penned in by my car and OHs so anyone thinking of stealing it would have logistically problems - but having said that I will ask OH about the alarm system, assume it has one so you cant disconnect the battery.
Its a crappy old Volvo - any determined thief would have a much better choice of cars to nick around here“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. oops sorry;) but fore warned is fore armed- :rotfl:
Very true
I think if I am very honest with myself we are away early December so we have about a week to put on the Christmas show. If eldest son went out to Germany with his GF and eldest child went to her BFs family then we could do a very neat grown up down sized Christmas for youngest sons arrival - he will only be home long enough to catch up on sleep and eating and then after 2 days he will want to go back up north - GFs birthday on New year.
I've also just thought that the only reason we get Christmas organised every year now is when youngest son comes home and he brings everything down from the loft and choreographs it all - did this even when he lived at home.
Eldest son will refuse to take over this role - I can see heated discussions taking place :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I have just been sorting out my flip flop box and came across THREE pairs of Animal flip flops that are as yet unworn :j Animal flip flops are the most comfortable ones known to man. The toe posts are cloth so don't rub between your toes.
I remember buying them mast year but I don't remember not wearing themat £18 a pair, that's me sorted for the rest of the year :j
Nice find QOC:Tdon't you just love it when this happens as years ago when the children were small there was never a chance of this happening as what we had we wore ...only one pair of winter and one pair of Summer shoes:(how things change:)0 -
Well I've not been wallowing in misery - I spotted on Freecycle this morning that someone needed boxes suitable for packing so I contacted them.
I've had 3 of the big boxes Tesco wine comes in ready to be Freecycled for ages but everything got in the way so these were ideal.
I then also found another flat box, some bits of bubble wrap, a huge 6 foot sheet of bubble wrap and an entire roll of brown paper my last Amazon order was wrapped in so the lady has just been to collect everything and gone away very happy.
I think the moral of the tale is even if you don't think you have very much that is worth freecycling you probably have a lot more than you think you have :j“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
