all the whites then transfer them to the twin tub in the kitchen
to be washed ......Now this might only be oldies like me that we
used to have pride in hanging our real nappies out on the line
white as white can be.... all pegged neatly in a row ....
Now I don't know why my dil and a few others don't just buy
every thing grey cos after the first wash they are either
white -grey
pink -grey
yellow -grey
the only time they are the original colour is before they are
washed
and sadly white is my fave colour for my dgd so I keep a few
whites at mine for her
My mum had a twin tub and I remember wash day ... It took her all day to do the wash.
I seperate... In fact your post made me chuckle it was DD's sports day today and you wouldn't believe the differing shades of white:eek: the childrenS pe tops were:eek: I have to say my monkeys whites are still very white:)0 -

A mangle... We had one of those too at our holiday home..( otherwise known as the caravan) :rotfl: before they invented electric hook ups and toilets in caravans;)
I remember if the battery ran out of charge for the tv my dad would plug it in to the car and go for a 10 minute drive to recharge it. Ah those were the days :rotfl:0 -
Chocolate Creme Oreo and Original Oreo 10 pack x2 biscuit lunch packs 220g are RTC in little A £1 from £1.89 - MSM suggests £1 in M. If price collectors have picked this up, good for C&C if this price in larger A (may have been good for an 11+).
