I also bought another 6 today but haven't checked them yet. They are not bad at 15p per pack although obviously not as good a deal as the box:)

No that's a good price considering they are two for £1 in supermarkets. I don't think I ve checked one where it s gone through
straight away it's either wrong captcha, oops you ve done 5 today, or try again as wrong code input.

When I was little and right through my teens there was a coal

house then an outside toilet ..then there was a building

that was called either the out house by men or the wash house

by women ...My mother used to have a berco boiler thing and boil

all the whites then transfer them to the twin tub in the kitchen

to be washed ......Now this might only be oldies like me that we

used to have pride in hanging our real nappies out on the line

white as white can be.... all pegged neatly in a row ....

Now I don't know why my dil and a few others don't just buy

every thing grey cos after the first wash they are either

    white -grey
    pink -grey
    yellow -grey

the only time they are the original colour is before they are

    washed

and sadly white is my fave colour for my dgd so I keep a few

    whites at mine for her

How I remember Friday nights helping mum wash, we didn't have a twin tub - we had the burco, a single washer with a ringer on top where you then put the clean washing through over the sink into cold water to rinse, rinse and repeat through water and ringer then finally into spin dryer, which if washing was put in uneven the dam thing would dance all over the floor and knock the bucket over that had collected the water, - how times have changed.
How I love seeing a line full of white nappies, not many mums do that now a days, but I was surprised when seeing a friend yesterday she said she was washing her nappies from her 1st baby ready for her next baby due in 6 weeks, and making sure she has nappy pins + plastic pants. :)
