Thanks for all the info on Virgin/ Sky. Looks like we are moving everything over to Virgin. Don't think it is saving us much money, but will have extras that we haven't had before.
Bearing in mind that our Sky boxes were both dying and the remotes are also on their last legs, seems a good thing to do.
Seem to have negotiated no up front costs and when I queried the price I just got more and more things added.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Ilgd... You've gone and jinxed it.... Either that or the sun couldn't stand the sight of me in my shorts;) it's Now super cloudy:( and my biggest strawberry has been nibbled by something:( I'm not having much luck this year in the garden department,
My Liz Earle order has been dispatched already, thats super service.. It's only been 3 hrs since I ordered and if you do join and you are recommended by a friend... Your friend receives a gift worth £20 when you do your first order;)
I used my first ever £10+ apg today from an accidental shop... Not glitchy just didn't add it up properly. I've been dreading using it after all the stories I've read on here. The sa entered it manually but wasn't fased by it and didn't call for supervisor. She just asked what I'd bought that was cheaper elsewhere:T0 -

We are also in the midst of negotiating with sky but not getting far.
So I got the chap to say our discussion and I said I would call back - or rather I hope that they would call me back with so,etching better.
So far I've got £5 a month for unlimited landline calls including 0845 same as last year.
£5 for unlimited broadband down from £7.50 - but we have a very slow line so it's not really unlimited.
£29.50 for the family package - about the same as he gave a discount
£11.50 line rental - free last year - this is the bit that really annoys us last year it was free - we used to pay annually so it worked out at about £10 a month - can't pay annually any more but he said its something they are thinking about - yes I am sure they are!
So it's still the wrong side of £50  It was £44 something, just gone up to £45 - another £17 going on the bill on August 1st
Maybe I could try ringing again in the morning - now I think about it I want sure if I was talking to the cancellations department“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I'd like someone to come and re-design my kitchen... We've too many doors in it and I don't know which ones would be the best to get rid of.... I need a visit from Kirsty Allsop:)0 -

The broadband from sky is normally ADSL which means that it comes over the phone line, so you would have to pay line rental. And if you want a new phone you can get a very cheap one from Argos or AsdaWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I am glad they coming hols wont have to worry about Poppy being at mums. Its not Poppy being at mums but if Poppy needs loo and mum with her on lead. Mum would have to take Poppy out and she strong is Poppy and pulls.
Don't you need all the doors to store your stashes behind0
