But many people would say in this country "conditions or job opportunities are not good"
So why are our 2 million out of work and their families (probably more as this is only the official figures) not seeking an improvement in their standard of living elsewhere

I also thought it interesting that the UN class them as migrant workers rather than economic migrants.

im not gonna comment on the illegals etc as I been there , got the t shirt, been in trouble about it so enough said.
as for china, was really upset over the dog eating ceremonies.:mad:I started reading but couldnt stop and it has stayed with me.:(..if I was starving, as in it was a choice between me and salwag, I would die and she could eat me.ill say no more on the subject so I dont bring the thread down.theres tradition and there is out and out unnecessary cruelty to dogs and cats...im crying now so im off, sorry.

This is an emotive subject to discuss on a friendly forum to be honest. All I will say, and all I am going to say is, I am all for helping those in despair but seriously, ALL illegal immigrants!? As has already been said, we are a small island with limited funds.
