:rotfl: though may not be cool enough for most youngsters
The vintage cars are great, and certainly something that would be of interest....I suspect though that the insurance premium rockets for us because we dont live in a rural and very beautiful part of the country.....
I think I havent done too bad...the initial premium on a provisional licence has come in at almost £600...all things considered...
I understand that a vintage aston martin would be a very suitable car........!!!!!!
Although being serious yes vintage is a very good alternative and for a while he did consider a very nice mini.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

Got my 2 boxes of walkers crisps, thanks to coupon Kathy getting me them. I have been house bound due to one of my daughters having the sickness bug. I have won on my first bag! Opted for coupon rather than uploading receipt.
Does anyone know if there is a way around of claiming more than 5 a day, do you have to use different email and mobile number?
Thanks xWe're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits.0 -

Huh went to three this morning on our way to Chester and none of them had heard of them never mind had any . One guy in Broughton looked online presumably at their stocks and said they aren't t even listed.
thanks for that - so its no good looking at the Chester Boots then for the COS free cans - not looking good. We have only got a small store on a shopping park
- mind you I am hoping to get OH to take me to !!!!!! tonight so in theory we could at least go and see if the little Boots stock them.
My shopping mojo is very low - I could in theory go to Stafford but it seems such a long way for just one thing ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. so they send you a coupon in the post - this sounds better than having to print something off and risk having printer problems“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. This afternoon I've been sorting all things car for DS1...
I have managed a slightly better test date for him...well at least this one is in July rather than August...
....and then I tackled the insurance quotes,shocking...
I guess theres not much way round a provisional driver or indeed a new driver....but I have managed to reduce the premium with the help of agreeing to the black box....
He picks up the new car on Saturday, and is just a little excited...
must remember to go and buy a set of L plates
I like sorting out afternoons
Have you put other name drivers on - our offspring have us as 2nd and 3rd named social drivers (both of us have clear liscenses) - bring sit down a bit.
Also check that the job description is correct - when I double checked it was wrong on both sons and when corrected it brought the price down.
Sadly lads under 25 will always get a rough deal from insurance companies until they have built up a few years no claims.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Brilliant, July is just around the corner. Insurance for new drivers is absolutely shocking. All three of our sons' first cars were second hand and the insurance cost nearly as much as the cars. They didn't like the idea of having the smaller engines but insuring anything bigger was out of the question.
one litre engines or less that is the only cars insurance companies will tolerate and even then ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Try admiral multi car. Someone told me about it. A normal quote for my daughter just as a named driver from Admiral was£1450 but putting my husbands car on from next April when it's due brought it down to £1075. She passed two years ago but it is so expensive it's about 6k for her to have her own insurance as if anyone will pay that !!0 -

That's a shame that you get penalised for where you live. The £600 sounds good on a provisional well done. I know DD oh paid over £800 on his provisional.
Ds2 paid £283:o and his new on full licence will be £550 he is very pleased as his best friend just paid £1400:eek:0
