    Hello all.

    On a weeks staycation.

    Got up late 9 am.

    Watched my guilty pleasure, justified.

Then popped off to lakeside. Primark has some lovely dark denim jeans for 7 pound. Quite good as have 34 inch leg too.

Also found lots of good stuff in home bargains and b&m. 1kg of finish was 2.49.

    So that was my day.

Anyone know how I tell if I've got a bee or wasp nest in my eves and how much it should cost to get rid of them.
Can see lots of the little blighter's going in and out of an air vent.
Council does a pest service and charges £45 for wasps.

I don't think you will get cheaper than that. Check your house insurance as some cover pest removal.

I think the thread looks slower than it is because somebody (or more than one person) are deleting previous posts. I noticed there was new posts made but the post number was going down. I can understand someone wanting to remove personal photos but other than that, I don't know why anyone would bother.

    Good evening:wave:

No rain today so I've been catching up on the washing mountain...and managed to remove the biro from the sofa cushion after soaking it in good old milk:j I've been waiting for a warm day with not blistering sunshine to rewash then as I don't want them fading in the sun.

Had a fab weekend, it did go rather fast though. I managed to talk DD into wearing the nice party dress not granny's curtains:j she was a propper princess for once and enjoyed her party.

Dipdap 11 days that's not long at all.... Good luck with the move, I dread to think what moving the whole contents of a house would be like especially with children's too... When I moved here I had 2 suitcases and the contents of my "bottom drawer" do people still do that? Deffinately not more than a mini metro boot full;)

Hi cheer1eader hope you're ok not seen you post for a while.

FC sending you a big hug. There's no shame in admitting how you feel. It's worse to hide it away until it's totally unbearable.
In order to be everyone's rock you need to look after yourself. Hope things seem a little brighter today.
DS 2 school sounds fab, it's nice to know that there are some people who break the mould and have a love and a passion for what they do rather than just a job and a way to pay the mortgage.

I'm so glad I read that back, before I posted  auto correct you would have thought I'd been on the bottle already;) I wish...

I got a tin of spray from b and q as recomemded on here. Only a few pounds and after a quick spray into the entrance they were history. That was a very busy wasps nest. Hth xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

Get some wasp killer powder and spray (well not spray so much as puff it like talc:D) it around the air brick, getting into all the nooks and crannies. If you do this at dusk/ later you won't get stung. It takes less than 2 days to notice the number of wasps around drastically decrease as they carry the powder into the hive. You can spray again after it rains, and to prevent any others setting up shop there too.

I used this stuff when I had a wasps nest that was accessed from an air brick:
