My post count has gone through the floor since I went back to work :(

I get in there this morning, Get settled at my desk then ask everyone if they had nice weekends, as you do.

    "Yes"

They're all so piggin up themselves  not once has anyone asked me anything about myself. Its impossible to strike up conversations with any of them, and if I try and join a conversation, they change it.

But they all chat and laugh amongst themselves.

And then, this afternoon, the boss lady had the cheek to tell me I should smile more!! The sooner I get out of there the better. I'm so glad it was only ever a temporary thing

Sorry to hear that QOC, we have that in our office, there's a couple of queen bees with faces that appear as if stung by themselves. I don't get it, even if I wouldn't care to spend time socially with someone I work with, you still try to be civil and pass pleasantries. Unfortunately there are just some types that feed off of gossip and only seem to thrive on causing mischief and an atmosphere of 'you're not in the click' and we're not only going to go out of our way so you know it but out of our way to not be helpful.

Easier said than done, but be grateful you're above them as it's only pond scum that thrive on crud and doo. I hope your boss wises up to their unsocial attitude. Took ours a while, but she's getting there.
