It's with WH now; tell them that you've already given VCS the keepers details but will give it to WH again for the avoidance of doubt.

But I haven't given VCS the details, just told them it wasn't me and the driver lives abroad.
Too late now I've sent details to ZZPS and told WH to pass it back to 'their client' as I was not the driver. Maybe ZZPS will pass it back to VCS and they'll try again which all helps my case as they have stated they will no longer acknowledge or respond to further correspondence.


Looks like I've won as they are the only ones who can take it any further.....:-)




















Or probably not cos I'm sure ZZPS will come back with another fake solicitors letter telling me if I don't pay up in full the amount owed is now £(make up amount) they'll get a CCJ or send the bailiffs round or give me a chinese burn or a dead leg or something.

At this stage you're really just trying to get them to embarrass themselves out of doing court, and to hopefully trip themselves up badly enough to get them sanctioned.

Make sure WH know the drivers details too and that your liability has ended. It'll be interesting to see if they back off at that stage or try and claim that it's too late.

Thanks Herzlos, but I posted the letter to WH this morning (post 95 on this thread) stating that I was not the driver but I would reluctantly reveal the details to their 'client' and they should pass the case back.


Now this is where I'm getting confused again, because the WH letter looks (and almost certainly is) a fake sent by ZZPS in the guise of a genuine solicitors letter. So if I send a letter to WH (which I have) posters are saying WH just pass them onto ZZPS anyway.


So are WH (the genuine article) involved or not other than their letterhead being used by ZZPS, in which case they will be receiving two letters in the next couple of days.


Some posters say 'tell them the details they're screwed', others say don't even give ZZPS the time of day.


At least I've got the start of a paper trail now, sooner or later VCS are going to risk a court case so at least I've got all this faked rubbish to back up my defence.
If they have the guts to take me on.

If ZZPS continue to pursue you pretending to be WH, after you've explicitly told WH that you've discharged your liability, then it should make WH look pretty bad.

The suspicion is that WH just pass everything back to ZZPS though but it'd be good to catch them out somehow.

As it's "with WH" you're probably best to direct your correspondence to them.

I've got a reply from the SRA-they've knocked it back, no further action to be taken against WH, but my complaint is kept on record to see if a trend appears.
At least the SRA are aware of their dodgy practices now so if enough people complain about them then sooner or later they'll get caught out.

I'm afraid that's to be expected, but keep them updated of any new developments, at least for their records.

Maybe with enough complaints something will get done though.
