(I thought I posted this before, but it doesn't seem to have saved it. I assume it's because of the glitches)

MSE replied to my Facebook question:

"Hi Louise, We're aware of the issue and our team are working on it. It should be back up and running in a few days, please bear with us"

The forum is and never has been any sort of priority...and that is being patently demonstrated.

    make that virtually impossible here.

Wonders if location is anything to do with it?

Non techie-minded....but I'm in West Wales.

    Where is everyone else?

Almost like a form of "rationing" is going on - you've had a few minutes and now its someone else's turn. Feels like not enough "space" for all of us..

Certainly feels like we are being rationed lol.

I thought it had been fixed when I first logged on this morning as no problems but after about 5 minutes they started again.

Taking far too much of my time all this waiting for pages to reload successfully. I seem to be able to read things ok, the trouble starts if I want to join in with anything.

Looks like I am being classed as the dodgy traffic that Martin mentioned on his twitter feed yesterday.

All fine here, but as you say seems it may just be some ISPs?

I'm in London - not having too much problem with it now.

Sometimes it posts straight away and some times I have to press the back button and then post.

If a post is particularly long I might copy before posting just to be on the safe side.

I don't find this difficult to deal with.

Same with me and I'm not even in the UK at the moment, much less a city.

Well they're not doing a very good job, I found the service better when logged in through VPN's via Germany or Romania, accessing direct via SKY or EE seemed to be worse :o

Martin is (by his own admission) not a Techie, so he is just regurgitating what he has been told.
And that stuff above doesn't seem to match with the evidence described by users here. (Or make much sense otherwise.)
  • Well that's me back to wondering whether its that "Obat aborsi" spammer that has had several goes at the Forum recently.

Fine here on Sky, so clearly only part of some ISPs networks then.
