    Cake and ice cream!

    That's what I call a great lunch! :o
  • Off work this week (with pay, yeah! It's been more than 2 years since I had a leave with pay having been a freelancer/agency worker for 2 years). Today, was just a chill out day with OH who is also on a week's leave. We had French toast for breakfast using up the last bit of bread in the fridge and for lunch I cooked stir fried beef (left over from the roasting joint that I used for last night's beef and mushroom pie) and left over cheesy sweet potato mash and hm tomato basil soup (part of the batch I made last Thursday). In other words, today was a left overs use up day. We are still full up so might just have beans on toast for supper tonight.

Was too lazy this morning to even make a boring sandwich, so I bought a boring sandwich (we need a smiley? which says tut and rolls it's eyes!)

Have tomorrow's planned though! So avocado salad will be 11/12 this month. :)

Yesterday was yogurt and stewed rhubarb.Today was a veggie and veggie mince stew and pasta, which will be lunch for the next few days as I made a big potful.
  • Hungry hippos' lunch to school was salami sandwich. They have just walked in from school and we are about to have late lunch/early supper - creamy chicken and leek pasta bake. Ice cream for dessert. Even though it is so wintry outside (Mr. Sun still hiding in a sulk ...)
