Well, as hoped, the Sunday afternoon boot sale was a lot more fun and much more successful than the Saturday morning one. Loads of buyers in jovial and spending mood, probably the nicest I've ever been to. It's a shame it's only held once a year, on the field adjoining a display of vintage tractors and other old rural machines. There was a nearby hall displaying country bygones, and a small marquee where they were selling strawberry teas. But, wait for it, the best bit was that I made £178 profit. Counted it 3 times to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
Added to the £69 I made on Saturday that's a total of £247 from selling stuff that I certainly wouldn't want to buy myself:rotfl:. Well, I did once, some of it anyway, but you know what I mean.
Sold a business manual on Amazon on Saturday for £30.90 profit (bought at a jumble sale for £1) but won't add to total until I get it, plus Populus £50 redemption cheque which hasn't cleared yet so will add that later too.
I've just updated my sig with £275.50:j,made up of the £247 car boot money, £8.50 carwash complaint voucher, and £20 Price Match and the Daily Mail Reward voucher used at Morrisons.
A week ago I was feeling very despondent at having such a rubbish money-making month, and suddenly it's turning into one of the best ever:j0 -

 Nice one carbootcrazy! Great to see!! I said it earlier in the thread - you never know what tomorrow will bring. A rubbish month can turn on its head in just a few hours, so never lose hope!
Had a few eBay weekend sales of roughly £25, so thats not bad. Plus, we needed another armchair for the new house (apparently people don't like sitting on the floor!) and we got a matching one for our sofa at Argos which was already in the sale, plus a surprise 20% off code, plus top cash back, plus tesco credit card points! All in, it was about £130 cheaper than we were expecting! I don't count it towards my monthly total as I like that to be cash in hand, but it was a decent saving none the less£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240 -
Thanks, Surfchik80
Brilliant result with the armchair, that's some saving:T. I never think of using Argos much but will try there more now:)0 -
just claimed £5 amazon voucher from yourword - as I claimed, it came through instantly on email! Now if only swagbucks was like that!
£2.50 nectar points used on food shopping.

Well - Whoopee Doo and Yippee - all my back interest came through today and it was a whopping £ 375 :j
So adding £ 3.75 from today's surveys = £ 378.75 added to month.
Was wondering if it was something to do with the Soltice and hope it changes luck for all of us trying to make some extra pennies
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday
