Well done all, things are trickling in for everyone.

I seemed to remember a while back on one of these someone was asking the best site for selling an old laptop for parts - just persuaded hubby to take the hard drive out of his old one so want to see if I can get something sorted with it before the end of the month!

Check out sold listings on rbay and see how much it has gone for in the past. There are some companies that will buy but will need to google

Was attempting to cut my rather overgrown grass with a strimmer and my next door neighbour gave me his spare old mower! Going to have to bake them a cake or something.

  • hiya all,

Cashed 2 cheques totalling £30 today from cashback site.

'That' ebayer decided to pay last night. Just as Ebay was about to close the case. Still no messages or anything from the buyer. An apology would be nice.
Reluctant to post out as don't trust the buyer now, but nothing I can do.

I have been lacking on everything the last week or so. Not even been doing swagbucks very much :o
Need to get back in to the swing of things, especially when I haven't done any overtime to be paid into next months wages.

Two thirds of June have already raced by and I've only added just under £40 to my target:o

The two weeks work I've done this month won't pay out until beginning of July, but will give a nice kick-start to next month even if it doesn't help me much this month.

Did a car boot sale this morning. Very drizzly and not many buyers about so only managed to make £69 after costs. Better than nothing though. Have added some more stuff to what I had left in the car and am doing another one tomorrow afternoon. Its on the field where a village event is being held (display of farming bygones and vintage tractors etc). I bet you're all green with envy at the exciting life that goes on round here:rotfl:. There should be plenty of people about so let's hope they are in spending mood;)

Used some Price Match coupons and a £10 voucher from the Daily Mail Rewards at Morrisons this afternoon, that's a total of £20 saved.

A few other bits and bobs too, will update signature after tomorrow's car boot sale. Maybe this month might not end up being such a disaster after all:j

Congratulations to all you money-makers. Some brilliant amounts raised and some new ideas to try:beer:

Hi JSO, If you send send it signed for then you should have no postage worries as you'll be covered by ebays Seller Protection. I always put the tracking number in so people know that's what I've done.

For future sales you can setup an auto non-payment case rule after 3 days minimum, then it's nothing personal just what your set up is iyswim. I've had this kick in a few times now - it's been a long time
since I set it up but its in the seller Account bit somewhere hth.
Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in infamy!!

Thanks, one thing I'm finding now I'm getting into all this is how it's actually quite overwhelming where to start with selling, surveys etc! This thread is seriously helpful :-D:j
