What to get my 13 year old for birthday?

Hubby and I are at a bit of a loss. Our daughter is turning 13 next week but we cannot for the life of us think what to get her. It's obviosuly a milestone birthday and I want to make sure it's a present that reflects that.
She has all the usual gadgets, iPad iphone tv etc and they are all relatively new so upgrading would seem like a bit of a waste.
She's not keen on jewellery so that's ruled out. Any ideas welcome.
Thanks

Ask her what she would like?0

We have for weeks, the problem is there is very little left to get her. So we are all a bit stuck0

How about an 'experience' day? Memories can be just as lasting as a 'stuff'.0

That was hubby's idea but apparently that would be boring. It has to be something. She can open. She wanted a puppy or kitten but I'm against giving animals as gifts so that's a no. (Plus she doesn't look after the two cats we do have!)Mellymoo265 wrote: »We have for weeks, the problem is there is very little left to get her. So we are all a bit stuck
Typical teenager, buy me something good but I can't tell you what that is.0 -
Since when has 13 been a "milestone" birthday?0

It is in my family, turning into a teenager. Perhaps it's not for you . Thanks for the helpful post though0

Why a milestone birthday?
Is it because it's the start of the 'teens', if so, having brought up four kids, rather than a time of celebration, I found it more a case of commiseration.

Take her clothes shopping and make a day of it?0

We do that most Saturday's. So wouldn't feel very special.
I should add we are taking her out for a meal so we have planned something.
Most of her friends seemed to have nails or hair done that kind of thing, but my dd gets those done every couple of weeks so I would feel bad giving her that as a present.
It was so much easier when a shopping spree in toys r us was enough. Teenagers are so fickle!0 -
Is there a membership you can get her? Entry for two to the local zoo or wildlife park for the year to represent more freedom to go out with friends? Bicycle? Icecream maker? Telescope? But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
