And sorry if I sound like a complete muppet asking these questions. I just don't know what to look out for etc.
Once again, many thanks all.
You don't sound like a muppet.
Keep asking questions.
Anything you don't understand - ask.
If you have doubts about anything - express them. Someone will be able to either reassure you or tell you to walk away.
Muppets are the ones who go into something as big as a house purchase without thinking about what they are doing.0 -
I wouldn't buy it for a number of reasons. one of them being the warm air heating (pic 3)
It heated the main room unevenly and she was often to be found , sitting close up to a vent (facing the wall, but this didn't bother her as she was blind. )0 -

Yes, every single one of these properties is better than the one you are looking at.
Your reason for moving appears to be neighbours. You'll be lucky if the people living in the new estate are any better.
Don't buy that house!0 -

Especially the first one, which is very spacious.0 -
Shannon Matthews was found under the bed in one if the flats on that estate.0

She was indeed.
I contacted the estate agent, they didn't even know if it was freehold or leasehold, so I have given up the ghost with this one.
I will have to keep looking. Thanks again for all the advice and information again. It truly is appreciated. Thanks for saving me from this huge massive pitfall.0 -
This does look more like a maisonette. It appears to be well maintained, however there's nicer Houses in the same area for less?? It isn't listed as a Freehold so you should definitely check whether you will have use of the garage and verify the Tenure.0
