I agree with the comment about the television being !!!!!! and aimed at people with below average intelligence but your refusal allow a 'half-wit' into your home to 'poke around' is a poor aurgument. It would be over in a matter of minutes and you can then get back to your life.

Life is too important to worry about these things. Why are you so driven to this cause? Could you not displace this resentment to a worthy cause instead?

Oh really ? Can I invite myself round to your place and take a few minutes to look around you home, look in your bedroom, inside the cupboards to make sure nothing is hidden? I mean I will only be there for a few minutes and then you can get back to your life.

It is not a poor argument because I do not want unwanted nonsense "officials" looking around my house for any reason whatsoever. It is my house, my private place and I want it to stay that way.

If you would like to invite everyone walking down the street to look in to your home for a few minutes be my guest.

And which part of your post was meant to be more productive than mine? Because I truly dont understand how it is. I would be delighted if you could spend some of your extremely valuable time explaining this concept to me.

    My speeling is atrocious.

    Your literacy too...

You have now twice stated "If you buy a television licence then they will not contact you." You seem to be selective when reading this thread, and couldn't be more wrong.

    Ok, I'll be blunt.

You need to get over yourself. They arent going to introde that much into your home. Its not going to be anal probe!

They'll just come round to see if there is a telly. Can you hide a telly in jewellery box?

Secondly, you'd rather go against the grain, allowing MY licence tax to be spent on the BBC sending you out notices. If you persist in this behaviour and attitude the licencing people will no doubt take you to court. This too, will come out of pockets of licence payers.

Why would you push things to such a limit that you will end up in court?

    Stop misbehaving.

Anyone one who I did not specifically invite into my house is intruding into my personal space, whether that is to have peek or look into every room.

Understand the concept - I do not want strangers wandering around my house whether it is for a second or an hour.

If you pay your license and they waste it sending me letters, threats and other crap - good. Not my problem.

I certainly will not be letting them into my house without a warrant. And that applies whether I have a license or not, and whether I have a TV or not. Anyway, I would really like to see them actually get a warrant. As far as I see they are inconvenient, unfair, unwanted POS thats inflicted on me.

How am I misbehaving ? Think before you post - and maybe look up what words mean.

IF you convince the TVLA that you do not require a TV licence, either because you have no TV or because you only watch DVDs, they will take you off their (threatening) mailing list ONLY for two years, then they will start all over again !
