Three advised all its retailers a couple of months ago that the final bill of the minimum contract is always delayed for some reason and for the retailer not to penalise the customer for this. Tomorrow i will try and post the memo sent to us.0

I should think that the final bill is only delayed when people cancel - if things are continuing "business as usual" then the bill would probably arrive on time.
Maybe the lesson is not to cancel immediately at the end of the minimum contract?0 -
On a 3Seller Update dated 30/4/07 it states the following:We would like to make you aware of a potential issue that may affect some customers who are looking to redeem a cashback offer.
Some 3Seller cashback deals are paid in months 12 and 18 of contract. As part of the proof of payment the customer needs to provide you with their respective 12 or 18 month final bill.
In 3's billing system we may delay the final 12 or 18 month bill, meaning that the bill will only be issued once the customer has either terminated or renewed their contract. By doing this it may take up to an extra 30 days after the normal bill date for the customer to receive their final bill. As a consequence of this the customer may not be able to provide you with a copy of their final bill.
If you have a customer in this situation, we request that you waive this requirement and pay the cashback that is due to the customer.0 -
interesting, do you have an official link that can be used as a reference in case of claims being rejected on this basis? Would be extremely useful.ummm...0

if the cashback agent says that you have to send the 12th bill.. then you should be ok... because whenever you final bill comes, it will still be your 12th bill. (irrelevant of date).
There should be something on the bill to show that this is the next bill in the series.0 -

So are you saying 3seller would accept cashback claims and payup without the original bill?? or would the time for the claim to be submitted be extended to account for this delay?
Phonebox direct state 21 days so either way i am now falling outside their T&C"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -

I'm sure this could be disputed as
1) [i'm presuming] they advertise the deal as a 12 month free deal, hence if you were to try to do that and then they refuse the cashback on this basis of a particular window then that is surely misleading.
2) you are at the mercy of the network provider and your bill will detail the date it was produced, there is nothing you can do to speed up the process so they have to accept this fact.
3) It would be advisable to write to pbd advising them that your 12th bill will be late so you are covered if you need to take the legal route.ummm...0 -
