3 purposely have wrecked my cashback claim
just come to the end on my first 12 month cashback with 3, did everything that you are supposed to made sure a chargable call was made in the last month cancelled at the right time etc. bill due to arrive on the 20 july yet has failled to arrive, contacted three and complained about this and i was told by a rude indian call centre that my bill was being suppresses and would be sent out on the 19th of august, they kept trying to claim tecnical problems which is wht it wasnt sent out, but this line was soon dropped when i said that now that they know about it it should be printed and posted, i got no joy and the operator wouldnt let me speak to a suppervisor or manager until i was firmly wound up and very insistant, they were no use either.
i belive this is a deliberate ploy to stop me sending in my last cashback claim on time (to phonebox direct) hence invalidating my claim.
i wont be out of pocket by much luckerly but these underhand tactics which annoy me!!
sorry rant over

3 don't give a stuff about your cashback claim - it's not coming out of their pocket.
Stop conspiracy theorising!
It's just a technical problem.0 -
this happened to me, technically speaking the next bill you get will be the "12th" bill so the retailer must honour the cashback claim.ummm...0

3 have no interest in your cashback claim. It's just unfortunate this happened when it did. Do you know if your bill can be viewed online - did you register for the 3 online account management? Do Phonebox allow printed bills or do they stipulate originals?
Just wondering if the technical fault is with their printing or the actual generation of the billing information. If phonebox allow printed bills and you can access the bill online you might be able to save some time that way. Just a thought.

Hi thanks for your replys
no phonebox direct will only accept original bills.
they also state that if the bill is not sent in within 21days of it being due (in my case that will be 21 days from 18th july) they will close my cash back account and terminate my right to claim.
If this was just a techincal problem why cants three just print off and send me my final bill now? rather than waiting for the 18th of august to produce it??"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Because it sounds like they are just putting two months' charges on the next regular invoice run for those customers, rather than doing a repeat of the run that got messed up.
They should really be able to do a manual invoice for you in the circumstances. But given that you've closed your account, they are unlikely to care too much about you!0 -
Send them the copy with an explanation of what is happening. If you then have to go to court to sort out your claim you will be in a strong position. The terms and conditions you are talking about has recently been found by one judge to be unreasonable.Hi thanks for your replys

My contract is due to expire on the 30th aug, when should I use my PAC code so that I get my 'final' bill to claim?
