Can I please remind ALL users that posts suggesting breaking ebay rules/terms or conditions will be removed.

It is unfair on newer users to advocate ways of getting banned for good.

The problem is that ebay make up the rules as they go along.

Was OP made aware of what she had supposedly done and warned, or just kicked off?

Ebay treat their customers like dirt....

Regardless of your own problems with ebay, their rules regarding trading and/or opening a new account whilst suspended are clear. All posts ssuggesting breaching ebay rules will be removed.

Calm down dear, it's only a forum....

As regards their rules, which they seem to ignore when it suits them, why should we stick to rules that are obviously unfair?

As it stands OP has really done very little wrong, and is now lumbered with a job lot of goods which she had planned to sell on ebay, and why should other people at her address also lose their accounts?

As far as I'm aware collective punishment is illegal in this country...

Because it's the rules and Ebay says we should abide by them, I don't know next you'll be suggesting we try and claim our bank charges back:rotfl::rotfl:after all we all signed up to their rules.

Mmm, you're both missing the point. The point is that this isn't a forum where you're meant to discuss new and exciting ways to pull the wool over ebay's eyes.

Seriously though... like it or lump it. If you don't like the way ebay does things, go elsewhere and stop whining about it. (This isn't directed at you OP ;))
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

Nobody is suggesting that anyone harms ebay, in fact they are missing out on revenue by their unfair rules.

If anything my suggestion is positive for ebay's shareholders.

I don't recall siging up to a service that would ban all those at the same address from having an account...

I am not trying to find ways to pull the wool over Ebays eyes, but also just because Ebay have a rule for something doesn't make it right and as I assumed the idea of this board was to fight for the consumer then a like it or lump it attitude is not one I subscribe to.

The problem as the Op found is that when something goes wrong you are stuffed and there's very little you can do, Ebay/Paypal are too powerful and there's no real compition.

Can I please clarify here so that there is no misunderstanding. There is a sticky thread on THIS forum entitled ebay ethics..and that covers discussing the 'grey areas' of ebay dealings and it states quite clearly "Any suggestion of these types of activities may be subject to removal."

If users have a problem with these rules being enforced on this forum then this needs to be taken up with the Forum manager or with Martin direct. This is not a discussion about whether ebay are right or wrong with their rules, this is a decision about what is acceptable on THIS forum.

It would be pointless in signing up for a new account as low and behold before youve sold anything the accounts been banned
