Sorry, need to have a little rant...........I have just received my first ever negative feedback on ebay and it is really upsetting me. Back in March our coffee machine blew up and so I listed all the parts from it. One of the coffee filters had a slight nick in the rubber seal and I wrote that in bold in the description and included a really clear photograph of the nick too and also listed this particular one cheaper than the others. Someone bought it back in March and then this week I get a negative feedback for it. I emailed them to ask why and they said it had a nick in the rubber and didn't work. I emailed them back and explained this was clearly stated in the listing and also pointed out that if they had contacted me I would have given them a refund or offered them one of the other filters but now they are sending nasty emails. I am so upset about this. I didn't do anything wrong - why are people so unfair? It seems so unfair to leave it 6 months and then leave negative feedback. I know I shouldn't be this upset over something so trivial - but I find unfairness really hard to take.

Have you kept the details? If so, could you not contact eBay and appeal?

Flybaby, some ebayers are just A holes. Or can't read. Or both. You could try getting the feedback removed, but if not then you can post a response along the lines of "description clearly stated xyz, had the buyer contacted seller at the time of sale a solution would been offered."
Or something. Don't email them at all, make sure any further communication is through ebay messages (although i'd ignore them now unless they raise a case), and report them to ebay if they carry on being vile.

Melly, sounds like new boss is looking forward to you going there - that's one positive to focus on amongst all the rubbish. Is OH coming out of horrible hulk mode yet?

I popped into Asda to get some banana bread beer (blame WaS!) and saw they had one bottle of Sticky Toffee Pudding ale as well, so I got it!

    I am drinking it!
    Yum!

    Evening my lovelies,

Just popping my head. I am sorry to hear about all the carp some people are getting. Melly I personally don't know how you are still standing I think I would be in a prison cell for what I would have done if it was me. But then I have an evil streak in me when I get really riled.

I am just sorting through thoughts and feelings and talking to people and trying to get my head around everything at the moment. Being told the cold hard truth some which was nice but some not so nice, is hard.

Knowing that some things are my fault and I am so ashamed of stuff I have done in the past to get my own way and hurt people I care about. God knows why I did the stuff I did. Did not just hurt other people but myself as well. And wrecked the relationship with people.

Trying to work out the best way forward and just general sort my head out. And try and be more understanding of other people and there issues and problems and support them if them will let me.

I will now hide away again for a while. So don't panic I am around, reading and thinking about all who need it.

    Yours

    Calley

    Calley! Hi!
Good to see you on the thread again! :T
    I've missed you!
How's the house and garden been?

Hope you're sorting your thoughts out.
Sometimes it's useful to go into 'stand-by mode'. I do it all the time in a small way, but once in a while, I do it big time. Up goes the drawbridge, down comes the portcullis, and in the moat go the pyranhas! Sometimes everything has to be shut out, just so you can recharge and take stock.

    Thanks for popping in! :A

Flybaby, Squish Queen and Golden Light, big hugs and multiple squishes to you.
It sounds like it's two steps forward and one back. However, that means there is a net gain of one forward step. It may be slow, but it is progress.
    We're here for you. :A
