Oh Pyxis...how i wish i could tell you i've moved and don;t have to deal with twatty housemate, alas the move in question was to here..over a year ago
Oh it just keeps getting better. I have a new housemate (the one i'd posted about that i didn't know was moving in) and turns out he has a child. A child that woke me up this morning because he as allowed to run tior aroun the house and was banging about the landing and stairs  I can't say for certain but i think he might have been left unsupervised. Its quite worrying actually. This guy works in a takeaway and got back with child in tow at about 2am this morning, anyway tursn out the other week, when my female housemate was here, he told her he needed to pop out and assumed she'd be fine watching the child and left her with him, she might have been okay with it if a)he'd bothered to properly ask and didn't just up and leave (bearing in mind hes been here a month max and we are bascially strangers) and b)the child doesn;t speak or understand english, which worries me as if something happened like and emergency the child can't communicate with my hosuemate nor could my female housemate communicate to the child something was wrong.
Oh and female housemate is moving out so i could end up with yet another problem housemate...i'm going to be outnumbered at this rateThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Oh poo.
Shame you don't live near me. As you could become my lodger.
As long as you could put with my dirty knickers left on the bathroom floor :rotfl:

CalleyI apparently make a good cuppa though! I can seal with washing on the floor.....at one point mine always seemed to be though i have a bag it all goes into now
In regards to the kid, if he is left alone at any point i'm going to have to mention it to my landlord. And i'm certainly not being forced into baby sitting a strangers child. My female housemate sometimes babysits her nephew, but he's pretty quiet and she's always supervising him so its never been an issue. But letting a kid run riot when people are sleeping isn't really on.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hello all. I'm away again so have just popped in to deliver supplies for the fort, with some hugs and squished xxxxEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

Just got back from a friends birthday party.
It was lovely to see her again, I really do need to keep in touch with people more.
I feel like I keep in touch, but it's all social media based and not actual face to face occasions which is probably why I feel lonely at times.
Resolution: arrange to see people more often!
Although probably not the most practical time to be making that resolution!0 -

I understand certain medicines can cause this, including some anti-depressants. Might be worth checking the blurbs that come with your medications.
MessedUp, sorry for the misunderstanding about your 'move'. I'm sorry your living arrangements are so dire.
Perhaps having an early word with the new lodger might nip things in the bud. Both about the noise and about leaving the child. Not easy, though, I appreciate that.
Well, I had a very enjoyable and productive AmDram day (and evening social), and am looking forward to more of the same tomorrow!
I've also learned what redtube and vloggers are!

Gingerbread, ice cream (the lush sort!), fluffy pillows, marshmallows (don't confuse these 2), and a massive self-replenishing box of chocs.

I think that's amazingly polite. With my low/no tolerance for noise I'd probably have stomped around in a somewhat passive aggressive fashion when it first happened.
Calley, my runs were always early morning as I like that time of day to be out, or after dark. Nothing to do with size, but everything to do with feeling like a pillock and not a "proper" runner. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
