Should i have received something first with a Crown Stamp?

IF so what, do i need to call the court now telling them i never received something?

I have received nothing apart from letters posted in that thread.

Never mind about the DVLA or Preston Council, they can't help you with a County Court Judgment.

You need to decide whether you wish to pay £100-odd to apply to the court to get the judgment set aside. If you do so, then you will need to persuade the judge that you didn't respond to the claim because you genuinely didn't receive the papers. You will also need to persuade the judge that if he sets aside the judgment for the case to be heard again then you have a reasonable prospect of winning (which oughtn't to be too difficult if it's one of Trev's half-baked trespass claims).

If you get it set aside and if you then win the case you will get your set-aside application fee back.

If you don't get it set aside and you don't pay it within the six days then it will blight your credit record for six years.

If you apply for a set aside the judgement is removed from your credit file (provided the set aside is granted). There is no immediate rush if you want to apply for a set aside as you only discovered the judgement today.

You have 21 days to apply but in practice the court will want the application ASAP. You need to download form N244 fill it out and pay £155 to the court.

    I just called the court.
They said they mailed me on the 28th of April, yet I received nothing.
they are sending me the forms now via email. £155

or i may just pay a monthly charge as now seems too complicated - i will need to go in court?

If you want to hand over £390 to scammers you are on your own, that's not the kind of thing we help with.

    ok - paying £155...
  • Since this is a relatively new development/tactic to screw money out of people, it deserves as wide a circulation and input from as many as possible in order to build a valid defence against it. Therefore, may I ask that the original poster also posts a copy of his thread up on pepipoo too? gravyguy50 - can you copy over your case onto this forum here - http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=60

I agree that cross posting is a good idea. This needs as wide a circulation as possible.

Here is what it show's on their website:

The carpark is pitch black (no lights, nor on any signs) , it was there 5 minutes, and at night time in an empty free carpark. Plungington Carpark at the back of Toni's Pizza's (note, not 100% sure, could be the back of spar - same sort of place though)
    Taken with a mobile phone?

I'll try to consolidate the posts and cross post on pepipoo today.

I've just paid £155 to Set Judgement Aside.

Or rather to apply to have it set aside!

    One your timeline here,

It says POPLA code generated on 21/04/15 did you get one or is it the usual MO and it is concealed within the letter.
