The 'Gone Racing' Jolly June NSD Challenge at Royal Ascot

It's just occured to me that we have another option for July's challenge,apart from:
-Wimbledon
then there's kerri's suggestions of
a) a wife carrying festival in Finland
b) an oil wrestling festival in Turkey
c) running with the bulls in Spain...

We could always go camping... The NSD Gang's Go Camping Adventure In July with [STRIKE]Timmy the dog[STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE] Hubert the donkey.
Fighting off clouds of midgies,Igor falling into the patch of stinging nettles and Cheffie losing his rubber ducky again.Could be fun.

Getting back to nature,sleeping under the stars,boot camp with kerri at 6 am,big slices of cake,egg sarnies and lashings of [STRIKE]tea[STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE] ginger beer?

Any thoughts on the matter?

Hmm, July' s agenda.....we obviously have to gatecrash Wimbledon, that goes without saying. Rather than pay a fortune in accommodation we could do the camping thing, on Wimbledon Common. Hubert likes the sound of that, he rather fancies meeting a Womble.

Don't forget we have Igor and Tatjiana' s wedding in the second half of July as well! (Must hunt for a flash new pair of wellies for that)

Cheffie has retired to bed under heavy sedation,clutching his rubber ducky.He overheard me talking about him theoretically losing rubber ducky and is convinced disaster is lurking around the corner...

Hubert is watching reruns of The Wombles,bless him.

Tattywotsit is helping me to erect the big nsd tent to make sure it's all shipshape,and has chosen the Penthouse Suite,as she and Igor will be honeymooning with us following their imminent nuptials.
The Portaloo appears to be broken,but Tatty is also a dab hand with a spanner,so no worries there.

nargle do you have their wedding date by any chance?
Hubert,who is Maid of Honour and Cheffie (Best Man) both need a fitting.

Ok,enough waffling from me!
