I was going to declare a NSD even though I don't have a target...then remembered that I treated my car to a wash after picking up some motion lotion :o It badly needed it though, in fact I can't remember the last time I washed it and to do it by hand means buckets of water through the house - i'd rather forgo something on the food shop than that :o

  • DS1 saved the day! Hubby came from work absolutely shattered and said he couldn't possibly cook the evening dinner. I was in the middle of the ironing and I was determined to finish it tonight so it wouldn't eat time for my long list of things to do tomorrow. Hubby said we'll just get a Chinese take away. I was horrified! Not another take away when we have been doing so well with the NSD Counts! So DS1 volunteered to cook spag Bol. Everything he used were value items from Aldee and my calculations tell me the meal cost less than £3. (He used tuna instead of minced meat as the main ingredient of his sauce). It was rather nice and plenty of left over for tomorrow's packed lunch.

NSD no.12 today! Proud momma here!
