Oh my goodness! You will never guess what Igor has just told me!
Igor....is in lurrrvve! Not only that, he has found The One. Not only that, are you all sitting down now, they are engaged! And they are talking about having the wedding next month sometime!!!!
I am flabbergasted. My flabber has never been so gasted. Igor has never been a lucky sort, everything always seems to go wrong for him, could things at last be working out?
I have never seen him so happy. He showed me a brief glimpse of a photo of her, a bit blurry so I couldn't see much (except for a significant wart).
I will not be able to attend the Ennessdee Towers barbecue this weekend, and Igor will be bringing Her to meet everyone, so I am relying on you all to check her over whilst chewing on your pickled stoat kebabs! I want to know everything, name, where she comes from, what she looks like, her clothes, everything!
Eeeh, I do love a wedding!One life - your life - live it!0 -
At work from 9.00 until ... well... it's 22.11 now and I'm not gone yet... I brought lunch, snacks, fruit, and a salad, and they've all been eaten now (no animals were hurt in the process - Swedish chef take note!).
The good news: NSD7 !Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590 -

Oh,pickled stoat kebabs- - we are pushing the boat out! :j:j
I had heard rumour of a romance.....and was shocked and amazed.
I always assumed that Igor's one and only love was haute cuisine.
He's been going to a gym in a desperate attempt to lose a spare tire or five, being that he is now a part time professional jockey.
Being of a peculiar shape (short, squat and with a distinctive crab like shuffle) he finds most sports a challenge.
Then he hired a personal trainer at the exclusive 'Greasy Spoon' gym.Their eyes met across a crowded and sweaty gym and the rest,as they say,is history.....
Her name is .... Tatjana, she's Ukrainian,a former professional shot putter....she's quite a lady.
Oh yes.
She's does help out in the TA in her spare time, knows her way around a ferret and loves Igor's curries. What's not to love?
Anyway, that's what I've heard from that incontinent blabbermouth Hubert.
BTW Hubert hopes to be either Matron of Honour or bridesmaid!
Can Hubert be trusted?
What is really going on?I think we should be told...
PS Hello magazine are going to cover the wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nargle Swedish meatballs.
Every time. :rotfl:0 -

The skirt is a gorgeous cerise pink and gold lurex stripe, the bustier is a wonderful black and cerise polka dot with sequins (in varying colours) and the jacket or as I like to say the peace de resistace is a gorgeous feather concoction in a rainbow of colours.. Now what shoes do I wear ??????:D
Yesterday was a very spendy day but today I spent nada so NSD #8 in the cauldron.
Yes Hubert I think they may all need sunglasses to gaze at my wonderful outfit :rotfl:
Ah yes,lovely.Lovely.Understated,simple,elegant.
Jimmy Chew spongebobs?Of course.
I've got a lovely pair of spongebob diamante dangly earrings that would go a treat with your outfit.I just hope that Hubert doesn't try to eat the feathers of your Channel jacket....0 -
Thank you, marmite, I knew I could rely on you to extract the information we needed! (Note to new members, if you need to find out something, ask [/B]marmite[/B], she holds the Olympic record for donkey grilling)
I will give the Swedish meatball shoes a go, if they look good, I could base my outfit for Igor's nuptials around them.
Mrs Doyle is currently at war with Swedish Chef, they both want to do the wedding cake. I should stay out of the kitchen if I were you, it's like pastry brushes at dawn in there at the moment. One life - your life - live it!0 -

Can Hubert be trusted though?
I promised him a tub of his favourite ice cream if he would spill the beans...so,for all I know,he was making it up....
I just hope that all that chocolate marshmallow rocky road/rum and raisin strawberry shortcake ice cream with extra sprinkles and chocolate and caramel sticky toffee sauce doesn't give him an upset tummy.
Tomorrow's a training day.
